It was clean, comfortable, and in a peaceful, scenic location. The host was very responsive leading up to the stay, though we didn’t need to reach out during the trip, which is always a good sign.That said, there were a couple of small issues. The listing describes it as a 3-bedroom, but the third room is actually a pullout couch—not a traditional bed. The sheets for it didn’t seem freshly cleaned, so the first thing we had to do was run a load of laundry.Also, while the grill was a nice touch, it was missing basic tools like a grill brush, so we had to buy one ourselves.Overall, it was a solid stay and we’d book again! ##### Adam S. It’s not that it was filthy, but the couches and rugs and draperies were dirty and very old as well as the furniture. The worst part for me was the kitchen. The kitchen was fine, but they had only one spatula, no, serving spoons, no wine glasses, no steak knives, no serving utensils, and the pots and pans were ludicrously old and should’ve been thrown away. It was a very underwhelming feeling of being in a very old uncared for Home. Many things needed to be updated and replaced. On top of all that, the main TV upstairs did not work, and there was no way to take the downstairs one and move it to a safe place upstairs. We had no TV for our entire vacation. I would never recommend this home to anyone. This all should have been taken care of so that it would not have been rented. what a big big disappointment from me and my family. Close to a number of hiking trials with beautiful views, shops and restaurants in the area. The place was large enough for four people upstairs where there are living and dining areas. The bedrooms are downstairs and just seems to be a bit too close to one another. It was not a problem for us but want to mention. Two bathrooms with good shower power and hot water pressure. The place was well cleaned. and had a number of board games to enjoy in the evening however we were not able to figure out if TV was in working condition. We did not bother the property management with that question but they were very responsive for all other inquiries we had during our stay. We spent five hours doing all the laundry, vacuuming, taking out the trash and doing the dishes. Also, we went to plug in a little heater in the downstairs bedroom, it surged and a flame came out of the socket, could have been fatal. The downstairs bathtub was clogged and we had to pull out a ton of hair from the bathtub. The toilet upstairs doesn't work. The smoke detector upstairs is ripped out of the ceiling. The towel rack upstairs in the bathroom is broken. The coffee maker is from the 1970’s and doesn’t work. Not a way we wanted to spend our Christmas. Horrible to spend money on a nightmare. We needed a working coffee machine and instead had to problem-solve for filter papers not fitting the machine. We had brought fresh salmon and salad but the kitchen had no utensils for tossing and serving a salad nor any non-stick utensils for cooking. We had to change our fitted sheet and a pillowcase because they were stained the first night so it’s good there were extra clean sheets! Cleaning crew please remove blood-stained pillowcase and whatever was on the fitted queen sheet!! Too many throw pillows throughout. Broken lamps and lampshades all over the place which should just be removed as there are ceiling lights. This place would get a four star review from me if the kitchen was better equipped, sheets were pristine and there was less clutter!!! One table is simply unusable because there is so much of the owner’s stuff on it. My advice to the management company would be to convince the owners to throw anything broken away, including used candles and decorations. Also, dining swivel chairs were extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced. ##### Nima N.
