We arrived late with our two small children to find the home at 55F with no working heat and no immediate assistance. The property was not properly cleaned, there were bugs in the master bedroom and bathroom, and multiple safety concerns including a broken chair, exposed wood on the railing (which caused a splinter), and the breaker box cover lying on the ground during heavy rain.What has been even more frustrating is the lack of accountability afterward — despite repeated attempts, neither Vacasa nor VRBO has provided a meaningful resolution. This experience has made us very hesitant to book through either again. We weren't expecting it to be all decorated for Christmas so that was nice. We wish the communication with the property manager was better. We received different answers in regards to the heating system and were unsure on what to pack, the string lights in the backyard were plugged but we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on (we never got a response). This prevented us from using the backyard after sunset. Other than that our stay was great. We had a lot of fun exploring lake arrowhead and coming back to the cabin to watch Christmas movies (the remote for the living room Tv doesn’t work). ##### Nery S.
