Excellent location for restaurants and coffee shops. The hot breakfast was not very good but there was cold choices that were fine. The price point was awesome and I would stay there again.

Not what we were hoping for.
Positive and efficient check-in, my questions were answered clearly. Room furnishings were serviceable, although worn and bed looked like someone had taken a nap on it. Tub had rust stains around the drain, and there was a long hair stuck in the tub. The tub faucet did not work properly and the water was barely warm. Breakfast at 9:00 was out of sausage and the eggs were very watery. All staff was pleasant and friendly.

Disappointed
This place is a disappointment, the rooms are tiny and not in great condition. We had to place towels under the door because the door sweep was ripped leaving a half inch gap under the door. The pool and hot tub is drained. The morning breakfast was not bad although lacking basic condiments like ketchup and hot sauce etc. Trip advisor gives this place an 8.4 not sure how that’s possible.

Room smell was musty and mildew. Bathroom had mold. Floor was dirty. One of the most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed in. We checked out following morning and went to another hotel down the road.

We were disappointed to not be able to check in early to make it to our 2pm Shakespeare play. Room was clean. Pool was cold. Hot tub not working. Very close to Shakespeare Festival. Able to park close to our room. Heard the hotel is closing this winter.

In town for an event with a friend.super close, reasonable price. Breakfast lacked variety. Room was a little outdated, but spacious and served our need to be downtown. Asked for a late checkout and was only granted an extra half hour….on a Sunday?

NOT WORTH THE PRICE WE PAID. NOT SURE HOW THEY GOT THE 8 STAR RATING. ELEVATOR WAS OUT OF ORDER, LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN FOR SOME TIME. TV REMOTE WOULD ONLY WORK IF YOU WERE STANDING WITHIN A FEW FEET. COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER.

The motel was old and showed its age. It was not real clean. The breakfast however was very good. Lots of variety and tasty.

We had to stay last minute and we enjoyed the rooms. They were a bit older but they felt roomy. Overall a nice place to stay especially for the money. I would stay there again.

Nice place to stay but we couldn't figure out the shower. The shower would only be warm for a second or two and then get super cold. The temperature wasn't consistent. Everything else was great. Good breakfast, safe and clean room.

This was the perfect place to stop on our road trip! Very nice for a cheap motel. The pool looked great but sadly it was raining when we were there so no chance to use it. Everything else was up to par and we had a nice stay.

The property was close to the Shakespeare Festival which I attended for two days. The property had a satisfying breakfast and accommodated my request for a refrigerator in my room. As a solo traveler, I felt safe during my stay. I found the shower a bit difficult to operate. However, everything else was quite adequate.

Very disappointing stay.
I have stayed in this motel every summer for a number of years. Since Wyndham has taken over it has been getting worse every year. This year the desk staff responded as if you were imposing on their time. The pool was filthy- guests were skimming the debris of the top, but there was a collection of debris and dirt on the bottom. You had to schedule housekeeping for a specific time and tell the clerk specifically what you wanted them to do in your room. The curtains in our room were broken. The property seems to be aging with little upkeep.

I have stayed in this hotel several times. This time was very disappointing. The pool was filthy; the room was clean, however the shower was old and either rust or dirt was in the corner of it and the faucet didn’t work. I had to call the front desk at night to shut off the water in the shower because the faucet was broken. Staff fixed it and said they would send maintenance in however that never happened. Breakfast was more than disappointing. There were no eggs by 8:45 and the sausages were in a crockpot soaking in what appeared to be water. As said, I have stayed here before and never had any problems. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

The breakfast was pathetic. (Dried scrambeled eggs, only one kind of yogurt, only one kind of fruit, wafflemaker timer broken). Very limited choices of most things.
