Hotel Cesario experienced
Two concerns: the initial room we stayed, smells pretty bad, smell comes from the underground so we asked to transfer to another room, 2nd floor; In the new room, we discovered presence of falling hairs on top of the bedsheet, so we again ask to replaced the bedsheets. The service is quick though.

Nice 7 day stay
Nice low cost stay. Excellent staff. Hotel was clean. Older building but partnership with Bellavista for dinning and pool make this an excellent value. 5th story pool offers beautiful views. Breakfast with bacon, eggs, pancakes and fruit is a wonderful start to the day.

Cheap place. It's okay if you will be in transit.
I flew into Cebu from KIX. I had a 4 AM pick up so this was close cheap and the dive shop on Malapasua recommended this as easy location.

Fire hazard
With electrical wires showing and lamps as fire hazards and the smallest tv I've seen in 30 years not to mention holes in the ceiling where water has come through. A total pit if not for breakfast next door and airport shuttle

Old but clean and quiet.
This double room I stayed in was clean and quiet. Furnishing S including television were dated. Security was provided by 24 hour guard. The breakfast buffet supplied to guests was well stocked and excellent.

near the airport
It is located within a distance of ten minutes ride by taxi. When I went to the Cebu airport from the hotel, they offerd me a free ride.Also, breakfast is available at the cafe which is next to the hotel(almost the same building). Speaking of the room, it was nothing special. But it is enough for just taking a rest.

We only stayed a few hours but the service was good,our flight was early morning they gave us a packed breakfast my only crictism is they did not have tea or coffee at 04: 00 hrs airport transfer was not a problem

It should call a motel not a hotel
The only hotel i have been which has no wifi in the room. You need to go to lobby to get a wifi, which is very inconvenience. Hotel furniture is old, mattrass loss its firm. TV channel and breakfast is ok. One more thing, dont bring heavy suitcase because no elevator. At least they have free shuttle bus to airport.

Noisy and smelly room
We stayed only for 1 night but the room was too noisy and there was a terrible smell. It´s a very old building with not too many things around. There was an electric kettle and glases in the room but no cups or amenities like sugar or coffee. Also there is no WiFi in the rooms, only in the lobby

Disappoited. NO SIGHT SEEING NEARBY.
Room was small. walls were plywood, you can hear everything from next room. Toilet small. No hot water. No kettle to make tea/coffee. Rooms stink and smell. I became sick No shops or eating places near by.

I just wish they provide complimentary water and more specially a dental kit. I was really shocked when I found none. However, the free pick up at the airport was great. It made me feel very special. An attendant was there carrying a placard with my name written on it. The free pool use and the buffet breakfast were also notable. I would not hesitate to give this hotel a perfect score if it only had a complimentary dental kit and bottled water.

Nice enough.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. I could not buy a bottle of water through the night. Rooms are tidy. Breakfast was delicious!!!! Best breakfast ever!!! Close to airport. Only short taxi ride.

my comfortable hotel
i always book this hotel first once i arrive at the airport. i recharge my jet lag before i start my things to do in this country. the shuttle service is prompt , trustworthy staff and very professional. breakfast is the best .

3 nights at the Cesario - worth the price...
Stayed for 3 nights. Room was adequate. Bathroom small but functional. We had a room close to the lobby so could get wifi in the room, at least on 1 side of the room. They state that wifi is free but only available in the lobby. The Cesario is attached to the Belavista Hotel where the restaurant with the free breakfast is located. Not sure of the relationship between the 2 hotels. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. Public transport is available in front of the hotel. Staff very helpful on what jeepneys go where and how to get to places. For the money, this hotel is a good choice.

Friendly staff ;prompt front service ; but there was an occasional breeze smelling like from sewage when bathroom door was open; air condition was malfunctioning ; thank you for our airport shuttle service

Needed place to stay for few hours to sleep and shower before flight at 1am, staff friendly free shuttle service awesome but rooms are not clean, toilet and beds were clean but mold in the shower and lots of dirt and grime on furniture. Perfect and cheap for what I was looking for

Checked in np , went to room yuk ! . Wanted to then check into Bella vista next door but no vacancies so had to stay one night instead of 4 that was booked . Never again I'm not fussy but yuk it's dated and needs pulling down and starting over . No hot water from basin taps, only one cold tap , Beds are old and bugs everywhere . Bitten 3 times without even sleeping . Pluses are you get a decent breakfast and use of Bella vista pool . My advice is check in Bella vista we did , much better hotel bit dated but better .

can't get out of there fast enough.
I stayed here for one night, thankfully. The room I stayed in was dark even with lights on. It has a dank bad smell in it that was burning my nostrils. I thought I'd get use to it but the more I stay there the worse it gets. Shower isnt that great either. Hot water was not working. The bed was not comfortable. Can't gett out of there fast enough. t

Would not recommend.
Hotel is dated, room musty, noisy AC. Had dinner in adjoining restaurant and was approached by server who claimed that reception needed my credit card as there was some issue (weird as I was paying cash for dinner and she had no idea what room I was staying in or how I paid for my room). Needless to say I did NOT provide my card but said I'd go speak to reception. I went to reception later for another reason and no one mentioned any issue. I did book and pay in advance online. My card was compromised on the date I stayed here and this was the only place I used it. For this reason I would not recommend staying here.

I admit we were on a budget but the rooms were dated and a bit small although we did know there were no cots or double bed we thought well its only for 2weeks in hindsight We wish we had gone for a hotel with a double bed at least.but on the positive note breakfast included was goodwhen our air con broke and ccould not be fixed they gave us a new room.i could not fault the staff polite and friendly so if you want a cheap room and don't mind it being dated and having only single beds then your be fine if you got a baby /toddler maybe not for you.

Another nice stay at Hotel Cesario
This is the place for me when I need overnight or short stay near airport. The free airport shuttle is very reliable, and courteous. You can count on them being at your gate if you can get the reception to answer the phone. I called for almost a whole day and could not get answer at Hotel Cesario, so I called the Bellavista Hotel and was able to arrange the shuttle through them. The buffet breakfast and pool make for a nice stay here. The food from the restaurant is affordable and pretty good. The room and reception service is great. The surrounding area is not so great, but is very accessible to MCIA and downtown Cebu. There is a Gaisano Mall just down the road, with lots of food choices as well. This is my 3rd stay here, and I will keep coming back.

We stayed two nights in an economy room. The room was basic but very clean, and everything worked. The hot water takes a few minutes to arrive, but that's pretty common in the Philippines. The very best this about this hotel is the excellent buffet breakfast. It was the best food I had all day.

Adequate for a pre / post flight stay
Cheap, clean, breakfast included, use of next doors swimming pool and a free airport transfer what more could you ask for. My only tip is make sure you get a room with air conditioning as a fan on its own is no use in the heat of Cebu.
