Bad experience from arrival, flights were delayed so we arrived later than expected. check in was smooth but we waited a while to get to our room as only one lift was working for all 10 floors of the hotel. we were hungry but all restaurants were closed. The AC in the room is terrible and hummed and cluttered, the shower wasn't working, basically dripped with no actual water, the fridge was broken, which was inexcusable, especially in that amount of heat. All of this was reported several times but the only thing that was fixed was the shower, and even then it was merely running. the staff were pleasant and tried to help, but the actual hotel needs renovation. There was a party a block away with loud music so we stayed up until 3am, we asked to switch rooms but were told we had to pay extra to stay on the other side of the hotel which was quieter. The pools were nice, but were used by people from outside the hotel so a little crowded, the roof top pool was out of use. The breakfast buffet was mainly Filipino food, the lunch/dinner menu was limited but what was served tasted good. The wifi could only be accessed in the lobby and during the day was really bad. I feel like the once the hotel is renovated it would be a better stay.
