Pros: Staff were awesome! We didn’t see any cockroaches or other bugs Good a/c Clean pool Hot water in the shower and good pressure Breakfast was good and reasonably priced Cons: Could be cleaner (windows and mirrors especially) Not a great neighborhood (however, we walked to downtown during the day, but I wouldn’t recommend doing so at night …having said that, it may be fine…you decide) For the price it is totally fine. Basic, but you get what you pay for.

not bad not great after a week stay I ask to check out one hour late and there was a extra fee for the hour security was very helpful there and even helped me with my bags and getting a cab everyone was friendly good ac units in the room the room i had could use a update there is a drug store next to the hotel that was handy for anything needed and little shops line the road very busy traffic but i think that is the norm here

Affordable spacious poolside room, decent and simple. Needs more aesthetics like interior design, and the comfort room needs some updating but overall the place is a good place to stay. I would like to commend that the staff are all accommodating, they helped get us a car to the airport because the area has limited transportation options (esp. on very early flights). Some guests were noisy but they seemed to be enjoying the pool. I like that there was a drugstore beside it, so if you lack essentials you can always go here. Since there's no restaurant, you have to be ready to go out for meals. Since crossing the street is unsafe better plan your trips as well.

Been Traveling Every Week to a several Hotel, But first time I encountered that FD/Receptionist don't even know How to Greet/Greet Back their Guest. The Hotel Staff DON'T HAVE PLEASING PERSONALTY.

Toiletry amenities were provided contrary to reviews . Desk staff was ok. Overall ok w nice view of mountain side, much better than poolside though room was older but clean. Pool is very old. Could use some good renovation. Shower curtains need adjusting to touch toilet floor so water will not splash out .

When i arrive they put me in the room that i wasnt expected i ask for upgade but i have to pay for full payment.the money that i pay to you hotel.come i wasted it and also you have to change that pic of your advertisement and also there rooms is need a good clean

Dissapointed due to mosqito infestation in room
There were lots of mosquitos in the room. Hotel staff sprayed pesticide to kill them . My wife and son got headaches after the treatment.

True experience which needs actions from the owner
The toilet is dirty. The room is dusty and alot of mosquitos inside. My wife asked them to eliminate the insects inside the room and so they used an insect spray. After afew hours, mosquitos and other insects fell on the floor and on the bed. They didn't bother cleaning the room after. They also allowed other occupants to drink in the hallway which caused noise. Overall, the place is worst but can be improved. With that experience, I will not go back to this hotel.

Good enough for the price.
It was a spontaneous booking. Just needed a place to sleep at since the AC at the place where we’re originally staying at wasn’t working. We were two guys. Would have been better if we were given two single beds. We had one queen with one pillow each and shared blanket. Didn’t make a fuss since I could deal with it. Bed isn’t the most comfortable and pillows aren’t up to the usual hotel standard I’m used to. Bathroom is so-so. Room keys are old school. I love the area as I’m used to staying at the Marco Polo. It was fully booked this time. Didn’t get any city view though. But the poll view is good enough. Didn’t get to use the pool but I think it’s great that a hotel at such price point has a pool. Also, had a problem with booking. It kept failing. Saying that the room is no longer available. So I had to try booking at other hotels. For some reason, I got an email saying my booking pushed through. I ended up with two bookings. They didn’t allow me to cancel the booking when it was clearly their end’s fault. In fact, the email says 2 rooms. I could have insisted they give me two rooms since they didn’t allow us to cancel. But I wasn’t in the mood for some consumer rights crusade. Good thing the other hotel I booked allowed us to cancel.

I would like to comment about some issues you have mentioned, First- you booked for a standard room which has only 1 queen-sized bed, it was in the booking site I supposed, then about the double booking, since your booking was forwarded to us by our partner Online Travel Agent - their booking confirmation states only 1 confirmed room and not two (2) rooms. If you have an email from them confirming the two rooms then I can help you process for a refund just send me their confirmation and I would be happy to assist you. Thank you

It is located along the highway where transportation is readily available. The receptionist is accommodating. We booked the room with poolside view. Room is spacious with extra clean beddings and towels. Toiletries are provided. It has a fridge with food and drinks at cost. The pool is clean but needs to be monitored every now and then to maintain its cleanliness while there are kids eating just too close to the pool. Work out machines are not functioning. Cats must be controlled because the receiving area has an awful odor of cat feces.

Quiet and friendly
Our stay there was great . the staff was nice the room was also great. Apart from the bathroom which was a bit smelly but some smelly spay fixed the problem. The food was average but eatable. Beer was cold. Lol. The only problem was I slipped on the tiles on the steps at the pool and cut my knee open . but the staff got a nurse to clean my wound.a lot of fuss .but brought me bandages and cream and offers me to go to hospital.. Was not that bad.just told them to get me another beer. Lol. It was 15min to the city shops air con was good. I would stay there again. After staying at the bai hotel the first night I felt like a bogan. Wanted money up front for everything. At 7x the price felt like I was going to run away with out paying.

The ole saying you get what you pay for and still got less. Hot water pressure was bad. Small blanket not big enough for 2 and thin. Bugs in room ,had bites on feet. Pool looked dirty. Only resto around is motel.

Cheap and very ordinary hotel.
If you like cold showers, barking dogs, crowing roosters at 3 am, very ordinary tv, ants in your bed, no drawers or hangers for your clothes, no coffee or tea making in the room, and being surrounded by slums, you will love this hotel. However, the service was prompt and curteous. The worst part was the roosters waking me up at 3 am, followed by the dogs next door barking all day long.

Some might be bothered by the lack of staff or the general maintenance of the hotel (leaves in the pool, gym outside etc.), but I enjoyed the quietness of the withdrawn hillside location as well, the comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, as well as have little to no other guests made our stay quite peaceful.

disaster at the Hilltop hotel!
the air conditioner did not work when we got to our room within minutes our room began to heat up. the shower did not work the water barely came out of the shower head, through the night the water stood on the floor of the bathroom and in the morning it smelled like sewage. the hotel is in terrible state of disrepair and it needs a great deal of attention or it needs to be closed. Whatever you do don't stay there!

Dirty outside and looked at room- stains on sheets
Refused to stay there. Dirty outside, sheets were stained, garbage outside window and noisy. The hotel management agreed to cancel my booking but couldn't reach Expedia - on hold for over 15 minutes then call terminated. Now I'm fighting with them to cancel charges. Great experience :(
