A beautiful town by the sea but full of rude and loud locals with very limited dining and shopping choices. Medieval cobblestone down people drive as if they were driving on a highway. The smell of dog urine is ubiquitous. A disappointment.
Great town. Parking is understandably not easy. Really good food if you know where to go. Ask the locals.
We loved Cadiz. It was not totally overwhelmed with tourists. It is beautiful, clean, safe and the locals are wonderful. The Atlantic is magnificent and there are lots of good beaches for going into the water. Excellent restaurants and bars.
Cadiz is a great and beautiful city. Stay at least 2 nights to enjoy this lovely city
