The beach is beautiful, the food and drink are good and better than other hotels that I stayed before, but property conditions are not good, dirty walls, bad repairs, etc... rooms services are not good neither. Room phone does not work. Pools are for children (only 3 feets of deep at any place) and service is too bad. In general, it is not a good place at all...

On plus side control of mosquitos very good, cleanliness excellent, staff good, food has gone down though frequent shortages, restaurants have menus that look good but meaningless as most popular dishes never available. Food reliance is on the buffet in grand memories. How many bars do you know of that run out of orange juice! Staff remain very helpful though.

The worst hotel ever
Your hotel is the worst quality/price service in the world, and no one of you care about that. Your rooms are terribly smelly and dirty. We just took the last room of the four that you offer us because we where tired. We spent one hour to clean the bathroom, was in disgusting condition, the toilet was still full of s**t!!!! At the check in no one explain us what’s going on in the hotel about restaurants location, time, tours entertainment etc. No one told us that we would need a reservation to eat in the restaurants. The beach is really nice, but also dirty, full of plastic cups and cigarettes, in three days nobody empty the bins or cleaned something. The hotel is not worth 50€.

Location of the hotel is perfect, close to the (beautiful) beach. Swimingpools are nice. Englisch is 'spoken', but not by everybody from the staff. Rooms are clean. The buffet is oké, a lot of choice. Freshly made dinners do take some time.

Détente, soleil et mojitos
Un hôtel avec des prestations "all inclusives". La plage est très bien située et le lieu véritablement calme par rapport à d'autres hôtels. Le personnel est très serviable et attentionné. Nous y avons effectué notre lune de miel et avons eu droit à une charmante attention de la part de la direction (bouteille de Cava sur la plage avec un saxophoniste pour nous jouer des airs romantiques, cela peut paraître cliché mais cela reste un très bon souvenir).Un lieu parfait pour se détendre après avoir bien vadrouillé dans l'île.

Estuvimos en la parte de only adults en el Sanctuary. Lo mejor, la zona de la piscina y la playa, que es preciosa. El resto no considero que esté a la altura de un cinco estrellas. Limpieza dudosa en las zonas comunes, puertas despintadas... En nuestra habitación el secador de pelo estaba arrancado de la pared. Detalles sin importancia que dan sensación de instalaciones venidas a menos. La comida correcta, pero nada que ver con otros resorts que hemos visitado. Otra cosa a remarcar es la gran cantidad de mosquitos. És algo exagerado, de modo que creo que el hotel tendría que adoptar medidas al respecto (fumigación, mosquiteras, evitar agua encharcada...). Pasas unos días allí y sales literalmente acribillado.

Instalaciones anticuadas y en mal estado, limpieza en los baños comunes muy deficiente, calidad de la comida y las bebidas mala, el personal no es profesional y dan un servicio de muy baja calidad, se ve que la dirección del hotel no está presente o no motiva al personal, no recomendaría a nadie este hotel. Die Ausstattung des Hotels sowie der Service sind gut. Es direkt am wirklich sehr schönen Strand von Cayo Santa Maria mit eigenem Strandbereich. Am ersten Abend konnten wir leider keine Reservierung für ein Restaurant mehr vornehmen und mussten somit ins zugehörige Nachbarhotel ins Buffetrestaurant. Hier war das Essen nicht sonderlich gut, in den A-la-carte-Restaurants hingegen schon! Für diejenigen, die es möchten, gibt es unterschiedliches Animationsprogramm.

Très belle chambre au Sanctuary mémory et très beaux jardins . Plage propre mais très étroite du côté de Sanctuary . Nourriture déplorable et les restaurants proposés le soir en dehors du buffet ne sont que les plats du buffet servis à table . En même temps, on est à Cuba donc ne pas s attendre à des supers plats raffinés !

nourriture du buffet très moyenne qualitativement et industrielle les restaurants à thème très vite saturés en réservation , lors de notre séjour nous n'avons pas pu diner à ces restaurants qui sont meilleurs que le buffet. j'ai demandé 2 fois (le matin) à changer une serviette tachée, elle a été changée que vers 22h (trop tard!!) trop de musique autour de la piscine belles chambres personnel aimable mais globalement l'organisation n'est pas à la hauteur de cet hotel, très compliqué pour avoir des infos

La Struttura del Sanctuary sorge a 100 metri dalla stuttura "sorella" Grand Memories risultando superiore in termini di qualita' generali' e soprattutto di cibo. La struttura e' bella per lo standard cubano e di fronte ad un mare stupendo. Camere pulite ampie, luminose e moderne. Consigliatissima rispetto al Grand Memories. Cibo sufficiente, mangiando nel ristorante della struttura (da prenotare la mattina). Da evitare assolutamente il buffet del Grand Memories li accanto di qualita' molto bassa. La maggioranza del personale e' cortese ma certamente non da 5 stelle. La clientele, per lo piu' Canadese molto piu' interessata alla quantita' che alla qualita' del cibo. Animazione discrete. Piscina ampia e pulita.

Un Fiasco Vous êtes un couple souhaitant passer d'agréables vacances en amoureux au calme sur des plages de sable blanc et une eau turquoise, passez votre chemin. Venus passer la fin de notre séjour à Cuba pour profiter des magnifiques cayos dans un hôtel (puisqu'il n'y a pas d'autres choix). Nous avons certes été séduits à notre arrivée par cet hôtel plutôt élégant, des piscines agréables, une plage splendide et une chambre agréable avec vue mer en prime. Jusque là tout était parfait. Nous avons appris que cet hôtel appartient à une société canadienne, du coup nous étions qu'avec des canadiens (et nous n'avons rien contre eux). Bienvenu donc dans la culture Nord Americaine, on parle fort, sens gêne pour beaucoup, malbouffe, le cliché du all inclusive : quel triste contraste avec ce beau pays de Cuba.. Pour profiter de la plage nous avions droit à des musiques canadiennes bien forte (très typique de Cuba..) Vous aurez le droit d'assister au spectacle de centaines de personnes avec des chopes thermos qui viennent faire le pleins de mauvais cocktails coupés à l'eau et à la glace. Des fast food vous seront proposés à toute heure de la journée (pizzas, burger, ..) bref le paradis de la junk food. Les buffets sont plutôt corrects (il y a du choix et de la quantité ..) mais il existe des "restaurants" au sein de l'établissement pour y dîner le soir. La qualité n'est pas au rdv encore une fois. Les vins servis sont des piquettes. Séjour donc tres mitigé dans cet hôtel.

Anbefaller for de som vil bo uten barn
Bodde på hotellet i 11 dager og generelt er fornøyd. Behjelpelig ansatte og rolig atmosfære. Sanctuary er bare for voksne. Flinke animatører og hver dag nye show og live musikk. Bygninger trenger litt oppussing, ellers ser rommet bra ut.

Bra hotell uten barn, stress og mas.
Hotellet er bra, ingen barn, alle ansatte snakker engelsk og er behjelpelig med alt du trenger. Nesten alle som bor på hotellet er fra Canada og er hyggelig folk. Internett fungerer veldig bra, men utfordringer ligger i å få kode fra resepsjon.

Il resort è posizionato sul mare. Il Sanctuary è il migliore dei tre resort Memories sul Cayo e dà accesso a tutti i servizi dei tre. Mare pazzesco! Il resto....così così
Il mare è fantastico, da togliere il fiato. Le stanze sono grandi e abbastanza belle, il sanctuary è il più bello dei tre, tutto sommato è bello (non un 5 stelle italiano però eh). Il cibo è il vero problema, al buffet del sanctuary (aperto solo a colazione e pranzo) non si mangia male, diciamo abbastanza bene. Decente. La sera però.... ATTENZIONE! la prima sera non c’e scelta, si è obbligati ad andare al buffet del Grand Memories (di fianco al Sanctuary, ci si arriva a piedi con le stradine interne al villaggio), dove c’è un disastro: milioni di persone e cibo schifoso!!! I giorni successivi se volete potete prenotare il posto a cena nel ristorante del Sanctuary (ad agosto c’è n’è uno solo aperto, ogni giorno cambia il tipo di cucina). A noi è toccata la cena “internazionale”, veramente tremenda, poche cose e decisamente cattive! Il cibo quindi bocciato. I cocktail in piscina sono acqua fresca. Il mare, però, come detto è stupendo!

Traumstrand und schöne Zimmer bei kulinarischer Fl
Vorneweg: Das Sanctuary@Memories gehört neben dem Grand Memories und Memories Paraíso zu dem Komplex des Memories-Hotels. Sanctuary-Gäste können alle 3 Hotelbereiche nutzen. Nun zuerst das Positive: Der Hotelkomplex liegt direkt an einem Traumstrand, das Wasser ist unglaublich türkis und sauber und herrlich! Das Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in gutem Zustand. Insgesamt war die Hotelanlage sehr sauber. Hier nun die Gründe, warum unser Aufenthalt trotzdem nicht mehr Sterne verdient hat: Das Essen war schlecht: fad, totgekocht, vor Fett triefend und sehr fleischlastig. Gut waren die lokalen Früchte. Da das Hotel fest in der Hand von Kanadiern ist (außer uns eigentlich fast alle Gäste), sind Speiseangebot und Angestelltenverhalten auf diese Gruppe ausgerichtet, was ungefähr so kubanisch ist wie Moin und Dithmarscher Grünkohlpfanne... Die Cocktails schmeckten einfach nur süß und künstlich. Lieber leckeres Cristal-Bier trinken!

Per gli standard cubani questi resort può andar bene ma scordatevi un 5 stelle europeo. Il personale è servizievole e cordiale, la stanza grande e abbastanza pulita anche se l'odore dell'umidità è presente. La qualità del cibo al buffet appena sufficiente, un po' meglio nei ristoranti alla carta che bisogna prenotare tramite il maggiordomo e sono quasi sempre già pieni. La spiaggia è senza dubbio il pezzo forte e la tranquillità essendo vietata ai bambini è garantita. Gli ospiti soprattutto canadesi sono molto chiassosi e spesso ubriachi visto che sono compresi anche gli alcolici. Sarebbe da offrire una più ampia scelta di intrattenimento serale ma soprattutto è da implementare decisamente il servizio di trasporto da e verso il cayo che è affidato a taxi privati o a tour operator e capire orari e modalità è lasciato al cliente con non poche difficoltà. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è nella norma. La Wi-Fi a pagamento è gradita ma non sempre funzionale.

Un très bon séjour
Un très bon rapport qualité prix.. Le cadre est idyllique L'hôtel est idéalement situé, il est tranquille, le personnel est au petit soin, les chambres sont grandes et impeccables, les buffets bien garnis. La piscine est très grande, les prestations all inclusive plus que correct. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.

molto carino ma...
bel villaggio, curato nelle strutture, camere molto ampie ma poco curate... copriletti macchiati, asciugamani macchiati... non da 4 O 5 stelle. La spiaggia è bella e il mare fantastico ma impossibile trovare un ombrellone già alle 8 del mattino... il cibo accettabile (buono il pesce alla griglia cotto al momento e i vari tipi di riso) non prendete la pasta che è completmente senza sale...forse cotta in acqua senza sale. Alle 17 tutte le attività sportive finiscono ed è un peccato perchè a quell'ora quasi tutti tornano dalla spiaggia... L'aria condizionata nei ristoranti è davvero troppo forte e l'acqua ghiacciata

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo resort per 4 notti, le camere e la struttura sono molto belle come anche la spiaggia fantastica. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Unica nota dolente ma da non sottovalutare è la pulizia: piatti del buffet e ristoranti evidentemente molto sporchi e unti; le salviette nelle camere completamente macchiate e mal lavate, per non parlare dei copriletti e lenzuola tutti macchiati. Non ritorneremo.

Un hotel para mejorar
Elegí el Sanctuary no sólo porque fuera para adultos, sino porque ofrecían algunas comodidades más. Error! La verdad es que si vas fuera de una época vacacional no vale la pena pagar más por ir al Sanctuary, no hay demasiados niños en el resto del hotel, y los servicios van a ser los mismos. Deberían mejorar: - el personal, no todos pero la mayoría se les nota que están insatisfechos con su trabajo, tanto a nivel atención al cliente como a nivel profesional dejan mucho que desear, - la limpieza y reposición de los productos de la habitación. - el servicio de mayordomos, no he conseguido entender que función tienen ni que beneficio aportan, pues en ningún otro resort los he tenido pero el servicio de habitaciones ha sido mejor. - los snacks, debería haber más variedad, pues sólo hay hamburguesa o perrito... (muy buena por cierto)... pero no te lo sirven ni un plato - los cocteles están mucho mejor en el bar del lobby principal del hotel que en el del Sanctuary - la recepción, no he visto en mi vida dar una peor bienvenida a unos clientes recién llegados a un hotel. Ni una sonrisa, ni te hablan, el trato es pésimo, de verdad no se puede hacer peor... Y no es un caso puntual con nosotros, les hemos visto recibir a más clientes y ha sido igual. De todas formas deberían plantearse tener un espacio de recepción como es debido y no una triste mesa situada practicamente en el mismo bar del hotel. La verdad es que he estado en otros hoteles del Cayo Santa María y no volvería a este.
