RESORT AMENITIES \-Pool \-Bikes \-Canoes \-Dock THINGS TO KNOW This property is located on Caye Caulker's north side. This is separated from town (and from where guests would arrive by plane or boat) by a small channel called 'The Split'. This means the transport of guests for check-in is recommended to be organized by our concierge and comes at an extra cost. It involves a taxi pickup at the boat terminal/airstrip which then heads north, crosses 'The Split' on a small barge, and drives a few minutes north to the property. Guests are approximately 10 minutes away from town by bicycle but still have to cross the channel on the barge and pay a small fee at every crossing. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Security camera details: There is a camera in the front yard , and Partial of the Main Entrance Dock details: Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. The apartment was spacious and nicely furnished with large windows to soak in the beautiful views. We were disappointed that there was no beach to walk on, and no swimming at our part of the island, due to crocodiles. There is a nice soaking pool onsite.We were able to ride bikes to Bliss Beach at the north end of the island for dipping in the ocean. It was very quick and easy to ferry across the split to South Caye Caulker, for a very small fee. We enjoyed being on the more relaxed, quieter north side. Overall a great stay. ##### Jill C. Séjour de 8 nuits en avril 2025 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Alexis S. 22 sept. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Inconveniences Overshadow a Beautiful Vacation Rental I recently stayed at this vacation rental for five nights, and while the property is beautifully decorated and in a great location, several significant inconveniences marred our experience. 1\. Flooded Bedroom: Upon check-in, we discovered the larger bedroom flooded due to a clogged AC drainage system. It took 1.5 hours for the concierge to send someone to address it, delaying our plans. 2\. Broken Door: A smaller bedroom door wouldn’t close or latch, and despite notifying the property manager, it remained unfixed throughout our stay. Staff also miscommunicated about retrieving the key for repairs, claiming they couldn’t find it when it was in the lockbox as we were instructed to leave it. My friend had to use her shirt to keep the door closed for privacy. 3\. Inadequate Drinking Water: We were supposed to receive a full 5-gallon jug of drinking water but found only half upon arrival. It wasn’t until we mentioned it that we received a full jug. 4\. Missing Amenities: The property lacked the promised iron and ironing board, and there was a “do not touch” sign on the washing machine, making laundry impossible. Additionally, the absence of a dishwasher, which wasn’t disclosed in the listing, added to our frustrations. Overall, while the rental has potential, the series of unresolved issues and poor communication significantly impacted our stay. Addressing these inconveniences could make this a much better option for future guests. ##### Alexis S.
