NEW TO OUR PORTFOLIO with availability from October 2024 and throughout 2025  
  
Anthony House offers spacious accommodation set within carefully maintained garden grounds, the views over the Urr Estuary to the surrounding hills make it a perfect location for a family holiday. The large garden area to the front of the property gives ample outdoor space, complimented with a charming summerhouse. Located in the sailing village of Kippford which has two pubs, both serving food, within walking distance.  
  
Kippford is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Dumfries and Galloway and there are always things to see and do around the village. It is just a short stroll through the village to a choice of two pubs, both of which serve food and also a lovely tea room The Ark, where you can enjoy delicious lunches and scrumptious cakes whilst taking in the views across the estuary. (Please note that seasonal opening hours do apply).  
  
Within a short drive are a number of sandy beaches and an excellent selection of golf courses including the championship links course at Southerness (fees payable).  
  
For the outdoor enthusiast this is fantastic walking and cycling country. There are numerous walks to the neighbouring village of Rocklcliffe and for those looking for a longer walk you can continue further along the coast to Portling and Sandyhills. For Cyclists within a short distance are two of the main sections of the 7Stanes Mountain Bike Network at Dalbeattie and the other at Dumfries. There are excellent Nature and Bird Reserves again within a short drive at WWT Caerlaverock and RSPB Mersehead. For those looking to experience some Scottish history & culture, Dumfries, home the Scotland’s national Bard Robert Burns is approximately 30 minutes away with his house, Mausoleum and the infamous Globe Inn, slightly further to the north is Ellisland where he farmed. NTS properties include Threave House & Estate near Castle Douglas, a must for any horticulturalist and Broughton House in Kirkcudbright, home to Scots artist E.A. Hornel.  
  
Anthony House is an ideal base from which to enjoy an active holiday or in which to totally relax and unwind.

Spacious Living/Dining room with patio doors (with ramp down from the patio) and views across the garden to the Urr Estuary, stairs to first floor; Twin bedroom (comprising one Double bed and a Single bed) with ensuite shower room; King size bedroom with sitting area with a work station and views across the garden to the estuary; Family shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.  
  
First Floor: Spacious landing leading to Twin bedroom with ensuite toilet with wash basin.  
  
Outside: Large Garden area to front with hard standing to the sides and rear of the house; Summer House with seating, indoor and outdoor games and outside deck area; Gas BBQ: Ample off-road parking; Secure storage for bicycles, golf clubs etc.
