Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff made for a most pleasant stay. Convenient location to the train station is a definite plus.

Excellent hotel on our Roadtrip
Service was very good and the room and restaurant were great. Excellent VFM. Charger for electric car made things very easy. Improvments: Would like a kettle in the room.

The staff at this property were excellent. The restaurant staff and chef went above and beyond to make our dinner an excellent experience. Food was great.

Nice hotel, good location
I always stay at this hotel when visiting Castellon. Good location for the train & bus station and for catching the tram to Grau for those who like the sea. Easy walk to the centre of the city This is a nice clean hotel. You can choose to upgrade to a room with a terrace which I always do as for me it makes for a more relaxed stay. I can't comment on the breakfast offering as I don't eat at the hotel. The one observation I have this time is that the towels are not great quality, quite thin due to their age I guess.

Hotel Civis Luz was a perfect place to stay. Excellent room with great views, easy location to drive to upon arrival and walkable to everything in the city. We loved it!

Really nice hotel. Room very clean and comfortable. Very close to the city centre as well. Staff is really polite, but I asked for the laundry service at the reception and for some reason the clothes I had were not collected from my room. Also had some issues with the shower. Water was either too cold or too hot. Something wrong with the water heater I would imagine...

Great 4* hotel. Spacious room. Fridge didn't work, but was replaced. Cleaning could have been better. Twice I asked for ice bucket, but received none. Still, nicest hotel in the area and we enjoyed our room!

Nice modern hotel
Have stayed at this hotel many times, friendly, professional and helpful staff. Excellent location for train and coach station. Easy walk through the park to the shopping centre, bars and restaurants.

Hotel on outskirts with rude lazy staff.
Hotel staff very rude. Reluctant to serve you. Quite a lazy dismissive attitude towards customers unless your Spainish and then you get preferential treatment!! Witnessed this being on the receiving end many times. Did not enjoy being treated this way and paying for it!

I recommend
A 2-night stay so that I could explore the city and also go to the Sunday Villarreal CF fútbol game. Very nice, comfortable room, great shower, and a friendly, helpful staff. And it's a great location that's right across from the train station and easy walking distance to the sites of the central area. Also close to tram so that it's easy and convenient to get to the beach area. Perfect. Well done Sercotel Luz Castellon!

Great location, helpfull staff
This is a very high quality hotel in a great location. It's directly next to the main train station and conveniently located half way between downtown and the university. Not a good choice is you are in town for the beach though. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff are friendly, professional and flexible. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely Sercotel Luz
Very comfortable stay, ideally located adjacent to the coach and train station, with the tram stop nearby. Excellent bathroom. No balcony in the standard rooms (as in the photo's). Didn't stay for breakfast. No kettle in the room, i took my own, but there's a minibar fridge.
