"The staff went out of their way to make us welcome, they were courteous, kind and helpful whenever they had the opportunity. You felt at home immediately. Breakfast was amazing! There was so much choice and everything was delicious. Hospitality was excellent, they couldn’t do enough for you. Delightful room with great facilities. Fantastic location, you could see and enjoy the sea, the castle is in clear view and many restaurants are nearby. Would highly recommend staying here! "

Better overall condition this time, though some of the original (and unique) decor (like the nautical themed sail canopies over the beds) has been removed. "Very nice clean rooms but small. Water in the fridge cost more than expected, front desk staff barely spoke English and had a hard time getting an itemized receipt (for work). Too noisy outside to keep windows open, constant honking cars all night, not the hotel’s fault, just the city. Lots of restaurants right outside the door and heavy police presence at all times to make you feel safe. There is a small gym but it’s a confusing building to navigate."
