The location has great sea views, although there is a road directly in front. We found this to be a very well run hotel in every dept. from the friendly professional reception staff, to the breakfast staff, cleaners, pool guys. The whole place sparkles, and even though it was late in the season, the pool was one of the cleanest cleanest ever. Breakfast was generous with a good selection of sweet & savoury items, as well as fresh fruit. Rooms of a good size, with good sized bathroom & efficient shower. Would not hesitate to recommend. Very good value , relative to price.
The charges for this motel are reasonable. However, having booked and paid for 1 week we arrived to discover we had no balcony or terrace with our room (all the pictures have balconies). A week is a long time with no seating area or anywhere to dry one's towels etc. We asked to be moved and were told the hotel was full. Actually I don't think the receptionist could be bothered, she was fairly joyless. There was no soul to the place and the pool closed when there were high winds. A night or two would be fine. The village itself is FAB.
We feel lucky to have stumbled into this hotel. It is secure, quiet, in a great location and parking was not a problem. It is a beautiful building full of old-warm charm. Our rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were elegant including the typical Italian sweets and cold cuts, etc. and its the only place in Italy where we were offered eggs. Jams were home-made and delicious. The owner was always available and helpful with directions, recommendations, etc. He even accompanied me to his bank to help resolve a problem I had buying Euros. I must mention that it is an incredible value for the money. We paid much more for other hotels in Italy that were not nearly as nice. I'm already planning my next trip and this is where I will stay.

Nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff. Room bit basic with no pictures or even a bin. No bar or restaurant on site which is a shame. On plus side nice pool, minibar in room, comfy beds, excellent air con. Breakfast basic. Location excellent.

Room a bit spartan but clean and relatively large; quiet; breakfast buffet one of the best we had; it included fresh ricotta in little baskets along with good espresso, fruit, salumi, tarts, breads, etc. They sell wine as well, and we bought a nice Cerasuolo di Vittoria. Best event was driving down to Scicli in the evening and enjoying the passeggiata.

Beautiful location overlooking a valley. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. There's a pool which is nice to have especially with young children. not very central although this wasn't a problem for us as we had a car. Room was spacious and clean, overlooking a terrace with views.
We enjoyed this hotel very much.
The rooms are a little small and cramped, but fully conditioned, and the courtyard and roof are very comfortable. Breakfast is reasonable, with too many cakes and bad coffee.
The worst part about the hotel is the Wifi, the walls of the rooms are quite thick so the reception is terrible!
