"My husband and I stayed at the Al Madarig over the New Year. The hotel was very modern and clean, while situated on an ancient landscape with nearby castle. We enjoyed the Mediterranean views from our balcony in the mornings, and dining in excellent local restaurants near the harbor at night. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was served each morning; which included: fresh eggs, fruit, an assortment of cakes and desserts, oven baked fresh bread and panini's-and my favorite-fresh ricotta cheese every morning! We will definately go back to this wonderful hotel experience! "

"Hotel Cala Marina seemed practically new when we visited in November 2023. The staff were the most fluent in English of the six Boutique hotels we stayed in throughout Sicily. The food service staff was outstanding. Parking was the easiest of our six hotels as well."

The staff were friendly and accommodating at all times. It is very convenient to walk into the restaurants in Scopello village and a very quick drive to the beautiful Zingaro reserve. "This hotel offered many outdoor areas including a great pool area to sit and relax. The outdoor space was organized into 3 convenient and lovely levels. The views from the outdoor areas and some of the rooms was of the water and the boats. The water was so close and with the boats bopping up and down, it was very picturesque. There were many boat rental kiosks offering a variety of water options. The lobby was very inviting and the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The room was just right in size with enough storage space and the washroom was large as well. The hotel was located close to many restaurants and by walking up some sidewalk stairs, one could visit the pretty main streets above. The hotel was just perfect for a seaside town visit, especially this beautiful town! Thank you!"

"The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel in a good location. However, the room was the smallest room I have ever been in. Absolutely no room in the bathroom. They even had our towels on the bed. There was not room for 2 suitcases. Only one person could be walking around at a time. Very disappointing. And parking was a huge issue. But otherwise, a good stay"

"What a great place to stay, which I did for two weeks. Located in a quiet street only 100 metres from the centre. Guiseppe and his family do everything they can to make you feel welcome and easily pass on any information you may need about the town and surrounding areas, even arranging transport and airport transfers. The whole property is spotless and cleaned and the rooms are spacious and cool, equipped with fridge and cooking appliances. Breakfast is a good continental selection. Would definitely recommend staying here"
