Holiday Villa With Swimming Pool In Arezzo.

Located on the hills that divide the Casentino valley from Chianti, the Villa is ideally positioned for those wishing to visit cities such as Florence, Arezzo or Siena. It is also the perfect base to experience and explore the Tuscan countryside. Now restored to perfection, the villa was a traditional 19th century Tuscan farmhouse, completely surrounded by a fenced and beautiful park. The building offers a lot of space to guests and their children to enjoy themselves and relax in peace and tranquillity. The heated pool offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, it can be used for a romantic after dinner swim or an out of season dip. From spring 2017 the pool area in completely fenced for the safety of the kids. The wellness area, created inside of a bright and panoramic structure, awaits for you to give you moments of relax after a day full of emotions. The wellness zone is equipped with a lounge area, Jacuzzi tubs, emotional shower, Hamam and fitness area Technogym. In the private wine cellar there is a selection of Tuscan wines available for guest.

The owner clearly takes great pride in the house and providing his guests with a wonderful experience. The beauty of the grounds surrounding the house cannot be overstated. The house has everything you need to make it your home- comfortable living room and outdoor seating, a well stocked kitchen, and a sun porch that will forever be one of my favorite places to enjoy a stunning view, friends, family, and a good meal. I consider myself lucky to stay there.

There were 11 of us staying at Andrea's villa – and it was just perfect!The house offers an incredible amount of space, complete privacy, a fantastic view, and beautiful surroundings. The hot tub and pool were a highlight and were used a lot by everyone. The house was excellently equipped and we longed for nothing. Andrea's warm hospitality is also particularly noteworthy: he was always available, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and even reserved tables for us. The cute resident cat Luna stole our hearts and quickly became part of our holiday experience.All in all, it was an unforgettable stay that we can wholeheartedly recommend. Many thanks to Andrea—we would love to come back!

Tolle Villa mit perfektem Gastgeber

Ein grandioser Ort für Urlaub mit Freunden. Andrea ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Schaut jeden Tag vorbei wegen Pool und Whirlpool, dabei aber immer im Hintergrund; bei Fragen jedoch sofort zur Stelle. Die Villa steht auf einem riesigen Grundstück und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gerade auch für Leute die gerne länger aufbleiben sehr gut, da man niemanden stört. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Tuscany Dream Vacation

Tuscany has been on our bucket list for a long time. Similar to a previous review, we had planned to visit Tuscany in May of 2020 and this was our make up trip. It was worth the wait. The property was ideal. We stayed three weeks and had family and friends visiting over different periods. Andrea is a great host. We enjoyed the property immensely. Our three grandkids played and frolicked in the yard. We had massive hide and seek games. The property is so immense that my granddaughter remarked,” I have never seen so much earth”. We also enjoyed the pool and spa. Andrea’s wife, Francesca, provided two pasta making and dinner classes for different guests. The tiramisu and molten chocolate cakes were a huge hit. Her ragu sauce was delicious and she made a vegetable and tomato sauce for our friends that are pescatarians. Everyone had a great time making fresh pasta. Francesca is an outstanding and credentialed chef. We also did pizza making in the pizza oven. 9 of us almost devoured 14 pizzas. They were outstanding. We visited Florence and Lucca by train through Arezzo. By car we visited Cortona, Gubbio, Poppi, the monestary at La Verna, San Gimignano, Siena, and Lake Trasimeno. There are several very good restaurants in Rassina, about 8 minutees away by car and a wonderful local restaurant in Castel Focognano called Nonna Giuditta. It was only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.We walked there and back from the villa. it is about 2 kilometers. Andrea is a great host.

A little piece of heaven!

My family of 12 stayed here for two weeks. We were supposed to come in May 2020, but the trip was cancelled due to covid. So we were ecstatic to finally be able to make the trip work in 2023. The property is stunning and the house is amazing with so many amenities to enjoy. Everyone (kids, spouses) had their own bedroom to enjoy along with private bath. We never felt crowded or on top of each other. We loved the separate spa/exercise room, the pool, and the wine cellar! Andrea was a great host and very responsive to all our questions and needs. He and his wife even cooked a fabulous Italian meal for us at the home to celebrate my niece's 16th birthday. The location was great and we were able to visit many wonderful towns and cities, as well as enjoy many relaxing days at the villa. Andrea, thank you for sharing your family home with us and your little piece of heaven in ITALY, it will be a trip we never forget!

2 weeks in Paradise

We were a group of 12 family members in an age range from 1 to 71… We were all in heaven for the 14 days of our stay. The villa is simply magnificent and the pictures posted don’t do justice to the reality of the place. We were all able to have private moments or be all together without feeling that there was a lack of privacy… We all enjoyed immensely this villa. My older grandsons could play soccer in the park as much as they wanted while the 3 year old could try to play with the ball. As for the 1 year old, she was able to see her brother and cousins playing together in a safe way ! Andrea was an extremely attentive host always able to answer all our questions and arrange for reservations for dinner at a restaurant or to visit local winery. He was always very discreet and would come on a daily basis to make sure that everything was going well. He was never intrusive and always respectful of us. If you rent this villa, make sure to reserve in advance for the wonderful meals that are catered by Andrea and his lovely wife, Francesca. We had them for 3 nights and we enjoyed 3 very different menus…they were all so extremely good and well prepared. When they leave, the kitchen is immaculate ! The villa is extremely clean and lovingly tended…you can feel that a lot of love went into its changes over the years. All the beds are extremely confortable and the linens and towels are very high quality as well ! If you need anything, you can always ask Andrea. I wish to be back!

A slice of heaven

Property and the owners greatly exceeded out expectations. It is up in the hills and way from the small town by about 1 mile, but the property is like being in your own park. Set on about 6 acres with property and the pool on the top of a hill is was an incredibly beautiful setting. For us it was a base camp, as we took side trips to Rome, Venice, Pisa and Florence. But we always came back to peace and quiet, to recharge our batteries. With having 4 different families the sleeping quarters were great. We each had our own sleeping quarters, close but separate. And the indoor/outdoor dining, where we gathered to eat was wonderful. We had 2 evening meals catered by Andrea and his wife Francesca, that were outstanding. It was the celebration of 50 years of marriage and to have our whole family with us, was wonderful. For us, it was the perfect setting and the place was adorable. We have traveled all over the world, but this villa will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Great property and very helpful host

We spent 1 week at the property in August 2020 with a large family group. The villa, pool and spa areas were in very good state, comfortable, well appointed and clean. The property has ample green space and beautiful views to the surrounding hills. Quiet and peaceful. The host, Andrea, made sure to answer all of our questions before the trip, helped to arrange everything we needed on site and was always there to help with any issues with pool temperature, jacuzzi, etc We also enjoyed a meal cooked by the hosts at the property that was excellent. It is clear they look after the property with care and experience. Overall, can’t recommend this enough. Top choice

Lovely place in the hills of Tuscany

We were travelling as a group of ten young people and the villa was just perfect for four couples and two singles. There was a nice pool area with a beautiful panorma view. Once we booked a privat cooking from Andrea and his wife - the food was very very delicious! This villa and it‘s quiet area is definitely a visit worth!

Amazing stay in rural Tuscany

Our stay at Villa Carda was absolutely faultless. Andrea and the family were very lovely hosts and went over and above what was expected. We took the recommendations of the wine tour at Colle Berreto which was fantastic and we purchased some great wines to take home with us. We also had a meal cooked for us in the villa on our last night and we are so glad we did. Well worth the money and a fab experience. We will definitely recommend to friends and hope to stay again soon ☺️ X

Beautiful home in an amazing setting

Our stay was amazing in a beautiful home with excellent facilities. The views and garden are stunning, best enjoyed from the lovely pool. We highly recommend having a Tuscan meal, Andrea and Francesca made an absolutely delicious dinner and are wonderful hosts. This is a really great venue for a family gathering.

An exceptional experience

Villa Carda was the perfect place to call home during our stay in Tuscany. Great accommodations for gathering together after day tripping, as well as plenty of spaces to separate from the group for some private time. The extra creature comforts, attention to decorative details and upkeep elevated the experience. Andrea and Antonio were gracious hosts, responsive to requests and ready with recommendations for dining and destinations. A highlight of the stay was the amazing meal of local specialties prepared by Francesca and Andrea. This peaceful setting tucked away in the hills of the Casentino Valley is a gem.

Best Ever Villa

The villa was more than spectacular. Andrea and his Father Antonio were in touch everyday to make sure things ran to perfection. Antonio shared many ideas on places to go and see. We were not disappointed with any of them. Andrea and his wife Francesca came to the villa one evening and gave us a cooking class then finished the dinner served us and cleaned up everything before leaving for the evening. Andrea was also very helpful with getting my lost luggage to me. The villa was perfect for the family of eight we had plenty of space for quiet time away from each other and ample space to enjoy each others company. Evenings by the pool was the perfect end to each perfect day. If you are looking at this property do not hesitate at all to book. You will never be disappointed. Wir, 10 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder haben unseren Urlaub in der schönen Villa Carda sehr genossen. Alles war sehr sauber, Haus und Küche gut eingerichtet und der Spa Pavillon, der Pool und die grosszügige Umgebung ein Genuss. Gastgeber Andrea ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und hat uns zusammen mit seiner Frau Francesca und Vater Antonio mit einem wunderbaren toskanischen Menue verwöhnt. Der Weinkeller ist mit feinen, erlesenen Weinen gefüllt und dank dem Pizzaofen genossen wir einen tollen Abend, wo jeder seine eigene Pizza kreieren konnte und alle daran grossen Spass hatten.
