Then enter Hattiway a fully furnished lakefront home located in a secluded cove on Lake Allatoona that will comfortably sleep 8-10\. This authentic lake house has a Master Bedroom with a view overlooking the lake from a king sized bed. This suite offers a LCD TV and a large closet with plenty of drawer space. The Master Bath has a large walk-in shower, soaking tub, double vanity and separate water closet. The guest bedroom gives you a double bed, plenty of closet space, a LCD TV and direct access to a full bath. The Bunk Room will give your guests young and old a place to giggle long in to the night as they tell tales about their day. This room has two sets of bunk beds (4 twin beds total), ample closet space and is across from a full bath. A twin sized antique sleigh bed in the downstairs TV room offers a great place to nap and doubles as an additional sleeping area. Also downstairs is another full bath. The eat-in kitchen and breakfast bar inspires conversation while preparing meals large or small for every family gathering. Our wooden beamed family room is a great place for watching movies or enjoying the game table. A screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and leads to the lower deck. The dock has an upper deck with built in seating and lighting. Lounge chairs let you sunbathe or just relax while the night overtakes the day. Underneath is a covered slip for your favorite boat. The waterline was littered with debris which made swimming from the dock unappealing. We rented a pontoon boat from Park Marina and that was the highlight of our stay. Our main reason for choosing this property was the proximity of the marina and it is pet friendly. We won't travel without our pup, which limits our options. My daughter, niece and I could only stay for a few days so I decided to get a house for all of us before my husband and son finished the tournament in a hotel. Well none of us wanted to leave this house. First of all, the WiFi was amazing! My husband and I unfortunately had to work a little a little while we were there and there were no problems. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean and spacious. The dock and hot tub served as endless hours of entertainment for the kids and we saw lots of deer and shooting stars at night! Wish we had a boat, but there wasn’t enough time. We did buy floats at the grocery store. Great stay. The house is well stocked, bed's are comfortable, short, paved walk to the boat dock and is conveniently located, by water, to the marina we rented a boat from. Our girls were playing in a tournament about 20 minutes from this home and we decided to turn the weekend into a team-bonding weekend with a few of the young ladies. Location was perfect and quiet. The house was clean and just like it says in the description. It was in the middle of February, so we didn’t take advantage of the lake and activities, but the hot tub more than made up for it! There was a small ‘glitch’ in something functioning in the house and Justin returned a txt/call immediately and had it taken care of asap. He checked in on us after that to be sure everything was ok. It is far enough away from restaurants that if you are not wanting to drive, I would recommend bringing some dinner/lunch food which we did not do. Grub Hub saved us though! We rented a boat and kept it at the dock enjoying lots of time on the lake. The layout of the house is spacious and functional for a large family. The house is in need of some modern updates but it is quirky and charming just the same. If you are looking for a laid back, no frills, house on the lake, with lots of room to spread out, this is the place. ##### Tim S. Between our family and friends we have a boat and two jet skis and they fit perfectly on the dock. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a great weekend! ##### Morgan P. Since it was a family event, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen. Recommend the owners consider adding the following: Measuring spoons Dishwash cloth Small bottle of dishwashing liquid scrubber Trivets Roasting pan Hot pads A larger than 7” x 7 “ cutting board Tea kettle Another rack in oven Griddle (electric or insert for stove) Hand mixer Less spatulas - no more than two of any item A modest spice set Modest set of oils and vinegars We are former VRBO owners, and we always made sure our home was set up for an eight person holiday gathering to include sundries. Aside from the kitchen, the rest of the house was fantastic. Would rent again. ##### Darry J. My family stayed here for Labor Day weekend. A storm had passed through a few days before and the owners worked hard to make sure we could enjoy our stay. The hot tub went out during the storm and the owner had a repair crew out the next morning and had it up operating in a few hours. The dock is very nice but needs a ladder that fits on the posts so swimmers can easily exit the lake. Very nice swimming location. We brought inflatable canoe and large floats which the kids enjoyed. There is a sunken canoe tied up to the dock which needs to be removed for safety of swimmers. It has lots of board games for the family to enjoy, good internet access and multiple large screen TVs. The kitchen is well supplied. We had a good time being together. ##### Bonnie D.
