I really enjoyed staying at this house. It is perfect for someone who needs to just get away for a few days. It would work for a family too, but that’s just not what I used it for. The WiFi was great. I was able to keep working. It is close to the grocery store, Dollar General, and restaurants. The only “problems” I had were completely out of the owner’s control. I brought my three dogs with me and one of them is a hunting hound. His nose led him astray a couple of times and he was able to get out of the property. I just kept him on a leash after that. There is also a rooster like a block over. I cannot stand roosters. But you can’t hear it in the house at all. The house was very clean and welcoming. The outside has a bunch of cool plants too. We loved staying here for the simplicity, history, and very convenient location! This cozy old cottage is clean, well kept, and perfect for a weekend stay. It’s a family friendly neighborhood but also within short walking distance to the water and restaurants/bars. Great location, plenty of space in the fenced yard for our boat trailer. The house was comfortable with everything you need for a weekend getaway. We brought our dogs which was a plus!
