The 575 sqft space, offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, with an open concept living room and kitchen for easy cooking and socializing. The interior of the cottage is beautiful pine planking with cathedral ceilings and plenty of windows for optimal sunshine. The house was warm and clean and in a cute little neighborhood in the village of Carp Lake. We loved the miniature sun porch where my son and I painted a couple mornings and of course the lake itself. Even frozen, the water is beautiful and such a special place to live. Communication with Ruth was simple and fast and checkin was a breeze. The neighbor across the street even waved and asked if we need him to swing his blower across and clear the driveway the day we were leaving. I wished there was an extra set of bedding to use on the r fold out couch available just in case and I also found myself wishing for a couch throw on those chilly mornings. We had the opportunity to use both the AC and the furnace and both worked great. The patio facing the lake was very comfortable and we enjoyed having our meals out in the sun room with a view.
