Rooms advertised to have block out blinds, they don’t. Like comes through 24/7 with their internal lights in the hallways and common areas. We requested to move rooms because the constant light shining throughout the night was unbearable, moved to a room with the exact same issues. We asked for the option of the room upgrade with the status we had available and the question was bypassed with you can get a drink on arrival. Shower leaked throughout the bathroom. We ended up checking out early.

The service was very nice but the hotel is in poor condition and my room had an odour of cigarette smoke that permeated all of my clothing. It was very disappointing because I was not planning to have to wash all of my clothes while travelling due to the smell of smoke. Also, there was mould in the shower stall.

We arrived on a Friday, nothing was said about there will be no housekeeping on the weekends. There were crickets, butterfly in the room, we had to kill. Went downstairs to tell the front lobby staff. That’s when we found out no housekeeping on the weekends, I was hoping they have some kind of courtesy to send someone to clean it up, or at least give us a spray maybe, so there won’t be any further bugs/insects. I was not feeling well, after a very long 15.5 hrs flight, 1st in this Continent, so it was very uncomfortable inconvenient and frustrating.

Very welcoming by Quest reception staff, excellent location near restaurants, locked underground parking. The room was spotlessly clean but the bench in bedroom was looking tired, very scratched with wear and tear and could do with some maintenance. Fresh milk was NOT available on request for tea & coffee only long life.

Located on a busy road and junction. Seems to be an area where people have the loudest cars in Victoria ! Though Smoking is supposed to be not permitted, the room & balcony had a number of used cigarette ends and someone drifted from the adjacent room whilst sat in the balcony. However the young lady Receptionist at check-in could not have been more friendly and helpful, with a very warm welcome.

Great place to stay, with restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only con we found was that there was little to no soundproofing, so the traffic was very loud even late into the evening. It woke us up one or two times while we were there. Our room did face out onto the main road though, so other rooms may be quieter. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay though.

We had booked studio room for 2nights. Initially front desk staff provided a room which was not as per the booking request and had a low bed which caused me back pain earlier. Hence she provided another room where heating was not working and TV didn’t get connected to Netflix etc. We realised that heater not working after 3 hours of stay in the room when we tried to turn it on. And then realised chrome cast is not working on tv as well. Hence we had to request for room change. We were already very tired by then but we had no choice but change the room. So they showed us another studio room with low fed. After informing the staff that we are exhausted and had to leave for a function to attend, they provided us another studio room . This time heating and tv worked but the bed was basically joining two single beds. It is mentioned in the room description that studio room contains double bed /queen bed. So it should not be joining two single beds as one fed was higher than the other and that made a slope in between the beds. It was not very comfortable to sleep at all. We would appreciate if the front desk staff pay attention to guest request notes and organise accordingly. They should have given us a better room as we lost all our energy and time into room movements. So waste of our time and money and it ruined the stay. There is always room for improvement.

As per amenities, this property doesn’t provide a tv with 32inch all rooms and there is issue with connecting to Netflix etc due to tv doesn’t get connected to chrome cast. Also AC is too old and does not function well. The property should ensure the front desk staff checks notes for the relevant booking prior to giving a room. It seems receptionist is not even aware of the requirement or room conditions. I hate back pain but the bed provided was too low and not suitable which can cause me more back pain. Hope these points will be noted. Our stay shpukd jit cause us stress .

I had requested for a room with Blvd street view and I have placed note for back pain . However the receptionist provided a side view property shs vet low bed. Again requested for a good bed and ste provided another room with low bed . Third request she gave us a room with Blvd steeet view. Studio rooms TV is way too shall to watch anything . AC in rooms doesn’t work always and tv doesn’t get connected chrome cast. They need to ensure that maintenance team keep checking the amenities provided as it’s not guest duty to check it after checking into the room.

Check in was quick and the staff friendly. The room was very good and the bedding comfortable. My only complaints, was the curtains were filthy and even though we kept the sliding door closed we somehow kept getting crickets inside.

Comfortable family weekend stay
Great family weekend. Great location with shops and restaurants close by. Furniture and cupboards needs a bit of attention but a great stay and we will stay there again. Had a beautiful city view.

Room was very small and some items shabby. There was no table and only 1chair. I put a pillow on the luggage to sit on and balanced food on my knee. Bathroom amenities not fully stocked and few tea/coffee items. Overall disappointing compared with other stays at this hotel.
