1950's knotty pine walls with white accents throughout. Refinished wood floors with high gloss shine. Clean and spacious 1200 sqft cottage. Modern retro style. It's ready for you to come and relax. Take a break from the hustle and bustle. Walk to the beach and check the waves. Walk to breakfast. You're close to it all. Here in the heart of Carolina Beach. The Captain's Cottage is a downstairs Unit of a Duplex approximately 3 blocks from the ocean set in a quiet neighborhood of partly fulltime residents mixed with summer rentals. The upstairs unit is likely to be rented or occupied , so there is a potential for noise as this is a circa 1950 beach house.

#### Great location and super clean!

The first thing we noticed when walking in was how clean it was, especially for being a bit older. Also, the location was just a short walk to the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It was a pretty humid and warm in there but we spent most of the day out and at the beach so it didn't bother us as much as much after the first night. Overall recommend!

#### Wonderful Stay

This was a great place to stay for the beach. A bit of a walk, but honestly not that bad. The house is old and does get a bit humid, and the doors don’t close well, so hope you’re traveling with close company! We loved the couch, which was super comfy! We played card games on the round dining table; we had a wonderful time!
