Welcome to Clam Shack at Carolina Beach. Relax on one of your two large decks and take in the beautiful views of the ocean on one side, and the marina on the other! You can enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the ocean, and then unwind your day with a cool drink while watching the sun set over the marina. We have everything you could want for your vacation, including a private elevator and lovely communal pool. We are a two-story town home (top two floors) with everything you'll need for your beach vacation. With a short one-minute walk, you'll be laying on the beach soaking up the sun in the sand. When you get back, we have an outdoor shower for you to rinse off in or just stay right in the pool before heading up for lunch. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, everyone will be happy. We have two large primary suites with luxurious bathrooms and whirlpool tubs. We offer three covered parking bays that accommodate 4 vehicles and a private elevator, so you don't have to lug all your belongings up the stairs! With two large decks, everyone can enjoy the beautiful ocean views. What a wonderful place for your family and friends to spend their vacation. When you first walk in you'll notice hardwood floors, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of room for everyone! Your toughest decision will be to figure out who sleeps in which room. We have TV's in the living room and all four bedrooms. There is an ocean view deck off the living room and another off the upstairs primary bedroom. They are both great places to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. The dining area has a large table as well as bar stools and seats eleven people total. The slow pace of island life makes it easy to forget about your work deadlines, and soon you won't even remember how stressful your life is back home! With beautiful beaches, great seafood, and fun activities for the kids, you'll be glad you booked this home here on Carolina Beach. Carolina Beach is easy to get to and once you cross over the bridge onto the island you'll instantly start to relax! We are a family-friendly beach town and offer live outdoor bands, fireworks, a boardwalk, fishing pier, restaurants, and a Food Lion, Publix and Walgreen's right on the island. While here, don't forget to head over to Britt's Donuts and have one or a dozen! They're a must for any visit to Carolina Beach and have been on the boardwalk since 1939\. You can also visit the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher Civil War fort and museum. Call us today, and we'll be happy to help you book your perfect beach vacation! Outdoor Pool open during the summer season only, May - September. The pool is managed by an outside company. If they need to close the pool for whatever reason, this does not entitle you to a refund. When elevator was not coming down upon arrival, property sent someone within 15 minutes to address the issue. The rental offers everything you could need and is a very short walk to the beach. Views are amazing and all bedrooms having their own bath is truly a benefit of this rental. The layout is spacious and very accommodating for all ages. All items are there for a great stay. The house was very clean and comfortable for our three generations to spend time together while each had their own space. There is a full kitchen and multiple covered parking spots and it was only a mile from dining out. The elevator made it very convenient for my 80-year old parents. There were fireworks over the board walk that we watched from the balcony at night and we could see the ocean and the sound during the day. The beach and the ocean were just a short walk away. Séjour de 5 nuits en août 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Deborah F. 5 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Wonderful stay at the Clam Shack We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clam Shack. A1 management was a pleasure to work with. Responsive and prompt with answers to any questions. We had a little trouble with our code when we arrived and with one phone call they were on top of it and even came out to make sure all was working for us. The house is very clean, plenty of seating, great balconies that get lots of shade and cross winds, rooms are large with ample storage and the bathrooms were great. We did not have any issues with the toilets and appreciated the hand soap pumps, hair dryers, and hooks to hang up towels. The kitchen is well stocked, and having the elevator to bring up all the grocery’s, luggage, and coolers was a huge plus! The parking was tight but we fit our van, truck, and suv just fine. We also utilized the extra space on the street which came in handy. Having a hose in the under house parking and on the porch was awesome. The pool was small but refreshing after a day at the beach and gets shade in the afternoon. The laundry room is spacious, had a drying rack and kept up with our constant use. The neighbors were friendly and the beach access was very close. The beach was beautiful and never crowded, it felt very private and clean. ##### Deborah F. It was a really nice rental, but many problems. 1\. Toilets 2 of 4 clogged several times on number 1s? 2\. Porch was not swept 3\. Elevator wasnt working and had 2 steep flights of stairs and my wife has a injured ankle real let down no refund as of yet. 4\. Underhouse parking asadvertised was tiny, and should have said very compact cars only. Our 4 runner and our ram pu did not remotely fit. So we were threatened to be towed or move on the street of a 3 night 2k stay pretty upsetting. 5\. The property owner would stare at us and our kids off her porch. We caught her loudly talking trash about our family to a neighbor. When we swam in the tiny shared pool she would stare at us from above and shake her head. Real piece of work. I would advise finding a different rental. We should be refunded but as of yet not a word at least 600 for all the issues. ##### Colin S.
