Contemporary Oceanfront, both duplex units Welcome to Sol de Mar (Sea Sun) Beach - an exciting new contemporary oceanfront property on Fort Fisher Blvd. North in Kure Beach. Leave your shoes at the door and sink into this wonderfully new and well-appointed slice of paradise. Stroll out to the beach, relax at the swimming pool, read a book on the porch, or enjoy the multitude of activities our beach and town have to offer. This brand new home has an open and contemporary design inside and out. Enjoy the sweeping and commanding views up and down the coastline from the porch, the main living areas, and the master bedrooms. The private walkway provides direct access to a uniquely private section of Kure Beach, far from busy parking lots and public beach access points. There is a large wraparound deck accessible from both living/dining areas as well as the primary bedrooms. The decks overlook the ocean, pool, and a large patio area. The private elevator takes you from the ground floor up to the top floor. There is nearly 1500 square feet of decking and patio space. More details: 9 BR, 7.5 baths total Sleeps 29 Private swimming pool, heated for an additional fee. Each duplex unit has its own full kitchen, dining and living room. TVs in all bedrooms plus living rooms. Fast internet with multiple wireless access points for devices and TV streaming. Wired internet connections in all bedrooms and living room. Parking for 9 cars. The open kitchen and living spaces and the large porches with ocean views were exactly what we all needed. We watched tons of dolphins and even a few whales from the porch and the brave were able to surf and dip in the ocean! The whole home was pristine and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. As you can see from the listing, it is unlike any beach house I've stayed at on the NC coast in the past. Everything you could need is at the prop, so you can maximize your time enjoying the house, beach, and pool. The owners are extremely communicative, so you should expect to be as well. This is not a party house, so it is important to have that expectation as renters. The result is a beautifully-upkept house. Keep in mind that the floors are separate units, even if you rent both of them (it's important to keep kitchen items, etc. on their original floors). My family had a very memorable stay here and highly recommend it to any future visitors. The property was very clean and Jeff was very attentive to our needs. We were the first renters of the entire property and it was absolutely fantastic! We had a total of five families and 22 guests in the property for the week. The space was great and provided plenty of room and privacy for each family. The kitchens were stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. We cooked dinner in 5 of the 7 nights and loved the Viking appliances in the top unit. Since it was set up as two separate units, it provided extra living space, kitchen space, and other amenities for each family. The location is great too. It's a fair distance from any public access points, providing plenty of room on the beach for bocce ball, corn hole, and other games on the beach. We also enjoyed the private pool and ping pong table on the ground level. The property owners were very accommodating. They answered all of our questions, provided suggestions/tips for the area, and were on call for any issue/questions we had during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. ##### Seth K. This home is gorgeous and well stocked with incredible views, we were able to see the weekly Thursday night fireworks from the deck, watch the moonrise over the horizon and enjoy a fabulous week together. Very clean, and gorgeous ocean view, short walk to beach, and great pool for the kids. Our host was amazing and very attentive to making our perfect family vacation. Hope we can return sometime soon! Jeff and his family were incredibly welcoming, and the house is truly one-of-a-kind. We traveled to Kure Beach for a family vacation with 22 people and the house was more than big enough for everyone. If you are looking for a beach vacation you will not be disappointed. The house is beautiful, has amazing views from both decks and has everything you could ever need. The owners have really thought of it all. The house pretty much sits right on the beach, which was far enough from the public access that it felt private. The beach is beautiful and there is a fantastic sandbar the kids can play and body surf on. The water was warm and even the adults spent a ton of time in the water. The duplex nature of the home was great for our family. It allowed for some time apart and a lot of time together. Breakfasts and lunches could provide some quieter times. The view of the ocean is simply gorgeous. Walking in the front doors, you immediately see it from both levels. That never gets old throughout your week. You can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your balcony. We loved spending a day at the beach, coming home for some afternoon pool time and then drinks overlooking the ocean.
