Fully remodeled, this bright space boasts ocean views, a pool and easy beach access, perfect for a restful getaway. At Casa Al Mare you can walk everywhere avoid CB parking fees. Visit the boardwalk -lined with pizza, donut, arcades, ice cream stands, bars, restaurants and high-flying amusement rides in the summer, there are always new things to see and do on the Boardwalk including shops, an oceanfront walkway, swings and open space for music, art and events. Cabana also provides private gated access for additional security with covered parking and elevator. Note that the Clubhouse is now open to Owners, Guests, and Tenants. This is a great venue for playing cards, foosball, games, or to watch a movie. We have a small share library we hope everyone utilizes. There are books for children and adults. As you enter the property, the bedroom with a King bed will be on your left. The bedroom connects to a full bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The open kitchen and living area is roomy and has access to the balcony which overlooks the Ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for your home cooked meals and the living room has a Queen sleeper sofa. Fresh linens and towels are included in the cleaning fee, so no need to worry about extra charges! Don't forget to check out all of the other attractions on Pleasure Island including Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium, the fishing piers, the Carolina Beach Lake and many walking trails. It’s on the first floor so the view is limited because of the sand dunes. You can see the waves but not the beach. Not a deal breaker for me. I especially liked the security of gated parking and access to the grounds. I parked in the covered parking area for the entire stay and walked to restaurants and coffee shops. Property managers used most of the storage space for their own use. Bedroom had no windows and the fan didn’t work. The fan pull was in a drawer. Was told by property manager that fan could not be fixed. Towel holder in bathroom was not affixed to wall bracket. There were numerous threatening posts (texts, emails and in apartment) about fines and eviction if you didn’t follow rules. Couch needs to be retired. The kids loved being able to look off the balcony and see the ocean! The bed was also pretty comfortable compared to most places, which made the stay even better. We would definitely stay here again! Minimal storage space. Lack of on-site guidance for help. Pool facility closed throughout stay was very disappointing. Cordial text communications with owner were appreciated. Left halfway into stay due to potential flooding threat with Storm Debby. Lack of any form of remittance for prepayment was unfortunate. Overly expensive in my view, so will seek alternative sites in the future. ##### Al K.
