It was clean, exactly as described and had little personal touches througout. It was a short walk to the beach and my son loved the walk in shower. He was able to access it easily and independently. The Brita was a great addition! The history of the Barracks was interesting. Thank you for including the information. We will be back! I would say it's great for a couple's getaway. The property was exactly as described in the listing and the pictures on the listing are spot on. The cleanliness of the unit was exemplary. The host is extremely attentive and responsive to any need that might arise. The only issue we had was resolved within literal minutes of our communication with the host. The location is excellently placed on Carolina Beach. I have some mobility issues and even for me the walk to the beach itself was less than five minutes. It is absolutely awesome to sit on the attached deck and see and hear the ocean itself. The host provided beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels for our use so if you’re traveling lite just know they have taken care of that for you. The location is in easy walking distance of several local restaurants and it’s a very short drive to the boardwalk area itself.
