The house itself was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for our group. We had two families (4 adults and 3 kids) staying together, and while the space was a bit on the tighter side, it worked well for us. One thing to note: one of the main bedrooms didn’t have a closet, which made unpacking a bit tricky and we would have loved more pillows and blankets. Loved the location! Easy drive to Palisades. The unit was immaculate and very comfortable for mom and 2 teenagers. Loved the proximity to the lake as well for evening stroll to watch the sunset. This is a nice property in which we used the provided propane BBQ almost everyday. It was nice sitting on the patio and enjoying our meals outside. I should have brought a insect candle or torch because those bugs were out. Overall nice stay, we have an infant so the washer/dryer came in handy. We will come back for sure! ##### Arty F. Great property one block in from the lake. AvantStay were very responsive and made the process of check-in easy. We had one maintenance need and they were very quick to send someone out to help out. I wanted a larger space to be able to spread out and just be comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed - great appliances. Bathrooms are very nice. Bed is very comfortable. The ad for the property is mostly accurate. The house is not across the street from the lake or Gar-Woods. It is a block up off the main road and Gar-woods, though close, is down the main road a little bit. Plus, no one told us about the construction that was taking place right on the main road a block in front of the house. The trucks worked very late and could be heard very early in the morning.
