This 2 bedroom 2 bath home which sleeps up to 6 offers indoor-outdoor living with 4 outdoor seating areas and an easy-to-use gas firepit.The Story Book Cottage offers 2 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed) and 2 full baths (with shower and tub) plus a cozy sitting room with a Queen sofa bed that overlooks the garden. "Loved our stay at this darling renovated cottage. Nearly everything is new and clean while appointed with tasteful personal details. The house is so close to town but is surprisingly quiet and a quick walk to hiking trails. We love the multiple conversation areas throughout the property - inside and out. And as foodies we really appreciated the excellent quality cookware and knife set" S.T. May 2025 “We have vacationed in Carmel a number of times, never in a spot as sweet as this though. The house is just as it looks in the photos, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. We loved the inner courtyard for afternoon lounging. The rental is located on a lovely quiet street, yet also so close to the village. We were an easy walk to everywhere and it was such a treat to be able to do that. This is one of those rare occasions where reality was even better than the pictures. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for an extended stay; all of it high quality and clean clean clean. Melissa gave us all the directions we needed to check in and check out and responded to any questions quickly.
