Great location to visit wineries, and several coffee spots and restaurants within walking distance. The house appears to be a brand new rental. Its location took a bit to get used to as it’s in the backyard of another (what looks to be rental) so no curb appeal. But honesty downtown Carleton doesn’t exactly ooze charm so you aren’t missing anything. It was the perfect location for the starting point of our daily adventures of hiking in the morning and wining in the afternoon. The bedrooms and decor are all great! Would love to have extra bed pillows in each room. The in-room ACs work fantastic! The appliances are all brand new. Kitchen is well stocked - would recommend maybe some taller glasses to accommodate a larger cup of water or a beer - but that’s just small stuff. We only had a couple of “new house” issues that we let the rental company know about and they offered to come out to check while we were there but they were such small issues it wasn’t necessary.
