This is a single family home, no shared space., with a small garage, and parking area attached to the house. We are located across the Street from Tamarack Beach. The price quoted is for a family of 4, the 5th and 6th person will be an extra charge. The coaster train is a great way to travel to downtown, or other beach cities, also the horse races, or fair. It's walking distance to the station, or ample parking at the station. There's over 70 restaurants, and shopping in the village, which is walking distance from the house. If you are coming to see the flower fields, we are 1.5 miles away. They are usually open from March to Early May. Beautiful view inside and outside of the beach, and sunsets. Easy access to the beach, which is a 2 minute walk, and few stairs, or ramp, and your on the sand. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, enclosed patio for little ones safety yard for kids to play. Clean and convenient beach/coastal neighborhood. A grass front yard for enjoying the water views also. Ocean views from the front room, kitchen, and front bedroom. This is not a party house, but a family house. Carlsbad was voted one of the top family beaches in the U.S. Nice large kitchen with an eating area that seats 6\. Outdoor patio with barbecue and table seats 6 also. Outdoor hot and cold shower. Full size washer/dryer, firepit, and barbecue, all with ocean view. Walk to the Village to have dinner and shop. Shop at the outlet mall 2 miles away, or large shopping mall 4 miles away. Legoland is less than 3 miles from the house. We provide sand chairs, umbrella's, beach towels, boogie boards, ice cooler, and a wagon for carrying it all. The home is spotless and well stocked with everything you could need. It truly felt like home away from home. I loved the outside patio area where we were able to eat and play cards. This was a much needed getaway and the house did not disappoint. Thank you Pam for being so attentive! We have stayed here quite a few times over the years and the house has everything you will need for a day at the beach. Accommodations are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and grilling. ##### Donna V. This house is a historic landmark that was renovated years ago. It was the PERFECT location for our vacation! A private home with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms! We (my husband and I) stayed here with our two adult children (18 and 20) and had the time of our lives. We surfed, had a BBQ, hung out at the beach, watched cable TV, sat by the fire pit on the deck and ate at all of our favorite restaurants. We also went fishing in a nearby lagoon. Everything is within walking distance. This house has a private parking space to the left of the garage so we never had to worry about parking if we left to go somewhere. Pam and Al were amazing hosts! They literally have everything in the house that you could possibly need: chip clips, griddle, stain remover for clothing, etc. We will definitely be back! You can rent a 335 sq ft room at a resort in Carlsbad for 400 a night or you can rent this private beachside house right on the ocean for the week at a reasonable price. We are SO glad we found this place! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the memories we made here. Incredible view from the front, a nice stroll from Carlsbad Village, and across the street from the beach are all added bonuses. It was the most amazingly perfect stay in absolutely every single way. The hosts were so phenomenal and accommodating to any need we could have thought of.
