However, there were many things I didn't like. On the first night, the bedroom was very cold. The heating/airconditioner is only in the living room so it took awhile (next night) for the bedroom to warm up. In my opinion that was unacceptable. The water pressure in the shower is non existent. The TV didn't work all the time. So although, the place was clean, the check in was easy and communication with the property manager was immediate, there were so many things that needed attention. Parking was reserved and right in front of the building of the unit. Walking distance to Gelson’s grocery store and a great breakfast place called the Broken Yolk in addition to property restaurants. When we come to Carlsbad we usually stay at our timeshare, but it was unavailable for these dates. Our oldest daughter joined us, so it was helpful to be able to set up a bed for her from the couch. The rental is well appointed but we wish the window coverings in the living room were able to block out light for sleeping. Since we were only there to sleep, it worked out ok. ##### Doug and Lauran H.
