I have stayed in Super 8's many times in the past and this one was just as good as the others. Easy access to the highway and a few fast food restaurants nearby. Very clean and the staff seemed nice. Would definitely stay there again.
My wife, grandchildren, and I had a wonderful time at the motel. The employees were most personable and accommodating. They provided directions to local attractions and suggestions as to activities for the "kids." the breakfast provided in the morning was awesome! I would definitely look for a Days Inn in future travels!
Overall this was a pretty good hotel. They offer cookies and coffee/tea in the lobby which made for a nice snack upon my arrival. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The free breakfast was above average compared with my expectations. The swimming pool and hot tub were both well maintained and the hot tub was the perfect temperature in my opinion. For the room, I had a studio suite which is basically a king size bed and TV in one room and then a couch, TV, desk, fridge, and microwave in the front room. I'd rate the bed as average compared with other hotels. The only negative during my experience was the noise level from outside. This hotel is literally right on the edge of the highway (interstate 81) and my room was on the highway side. They do have special glass installed to reduce the noise, but I was still woken up a couple of times during the night when trucks went roaring by. I suppose I could have used ear plugs, but really don't like to do so. I would still consider staying at this hotel in the future, but I would be sure to request a room on the front side of the hotel away from the highway.
Brand new hotel located off of Interstate 81. Amenities include complimentary continental breakfast, heated indoor pool and …More
This is a great place to stay. The morning breakfast is such a convenience to help travelers get on their way without having to stop somewhere else to eat breakfast. Also the cookies when we checked in were a nice touch.
