We travel through this area regularly. This hotel never disappoints. Always welcoming, always clean, always comfortable. The breakfast offers many choices and the coffee is really good. A favorite stop on our travels.
I was very happy with my stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were very clean. The fireplace was an extra bonus that we liked. My only complaint with the room was the pillows flattened like pancakes when you layed on them. The staff was super nice and the free breakfast was as good as can be expected. my only other complaint is this hotel came up in my search for hotels near Hershey park, but it is 35 minutes away. I would have preferred to be closer.
"Clean room, nice staff, close to highway but quiet"
We only stayed for one night since our family is visiting Dickinson College with our daughter. Checkin is quick, room is clean and comfort, cleaning staff even stopped by and ask whether we want any extra towels etc.
But we found one bed sheet has blood stain on it, bathroom sink/faucet need repair, one bath towel feels damp, not dry(not sure whether we arrived on a heavy thunder storm day caused this wet towel?)
But overall, I will stay this Inn again next time if I need to.
Staff at this hotel are extremely accommodating. They make sure that you have what you need to be comfortable. Sorry that I made my reservation through a third party because it almost doubled my usual expenditure. Lesson learned.
In historic downtown, restored buildings like the Carlisle Theater add charm. Antique shops, galleries, and boutiques line Pomfret and High streets. Dickinson College, near the main square, was the first college chartered by the U.S. The Carlisle Barracks and Army Heritage Museum illustrate the rich military history. Ten auto shows and other events are hosted annually at the Carlisle Fairgrounds.
