Nice apartment of 70 m2 very quiet, in a building with character, downtown, completely renovated for 4 to 6 people. Typical Carcassonne apartment: Ceiling moldings, beautiful volumes, stained glass windows ...
Composed of 2 bedrooms with 140 bed and 140 convertible sofa.
You will stay in Square Gambetta, ideally located 10 minutes walk from the Medieval City and 5 minutes from the city center, free parking 2 minutes away and paid parking opposite. Airport shuttle 2 minutes away. Train station 10 minutes on foot.
In summer you will be a 10-minute walk from the municipal swimming pool, passing by the peaceful banks of the Aude.
You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, sheets and towels provided, large kitchen, large shower. Internet wifi is also provided.
A private courtyard of 20m² and a small patio will welcome you for a moment of relaxation after enjoying our beautiful region. Welcome !!

Perfect vacation in Beautiful Carcassonne

The apartment was in a great position for all the places of interest which we wanted to visit. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was effective and prompt. We enjoyed the local restaurants and cafe culture. The Fete de Musique took place while we were there so we also enjoyed open air concerts. Thank you for a wonderful stay Goretti

Spacious, cool and easy walk to citadel

Large spacious apt, stays cool in warm weather because it is in basement. Overall great, could use a bit of touch up to freshen it up. Fabulous location, across from a lovely park and an easy (well…OK…there IS the big hill to climb) 15 minute walk into the old walls citadel. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location

Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Had some trouble with the hot water to wash basin & sink but managed ! The apartment was a little gloomy but the weather was bad when we went which didn’t help. It’s a basement conversion so the approach to the entrance was not very attractive with very high walls. Great value for money though & excellent location for the town & medieval city.

Great location and comfortable stay

We couldn’t have asked for a better location to tour around the old and new city. Left car parked and walked everywhere. Amazing restaurants all around. Very comfortable beds!!!

Good location, comfortable beds

High ceilings and large common room were nice. Some stand lights and lamps would be nice - ceiling LED lights are harsh. Limited options for breakfast cafes. There is no dryer so bring clothes pins if you want to use the washer. (There is a makeshift clothes line on the patio). Towels are old and very thin. A couple of dehumidifiers would help with the dampness of a basement apartment.

Comfortable in a Good Location

Large, comfortable suite next to Sq. Gambetta, just a short walk from the Medieval City and the Bastide St. Louis. Very well equipped with a cozy patio for dining al fresco or just enjoying the sunshine. Access a bit complicated because it is in the rear of an apartment building, but the owner's instructions are very accurate. Very pleasant stay. Would have no problem returning again.

Property is on same side of Square Gambetta as Ibis Hotel. What we liked: Great location for exploring Carcassonne, including medieval city; Quiet; WiFi (though connection not always reliable); Appliances & kitchen well stocked (crockery etc); dishwasher tablets/washing machine pods supplied; Carrefour & Monoprix - local small supermarkets - both within 5-10 mins walk; likewise independent food stores (such as patisserie & greengrocer). Things to be aware of: Low beds; Noisy toilet (air suction style); 2 of stayed using both beds - made up with 1 pillow per bed only yet lots of spares available (along with blankets); only provided with 2 bath & 2 tea towels for 1 week (no hand towels); hot water takes about 2 minutes to get through; washing machine stacked on top of dishwasher; very few clothes hangers; only 8 clothes pegs; lots of pigeons nesting in the courtyard where outdoor seating & washing line are; no waste/recycling information - 2 different bins for building; can hear neighbours talking through walls in both bedrooms. What we didn't like: No oven glove or laundry basket; no windows in either bedroom or shower room - only 1 in sitting room on same wall as entrance door; crockery plentiful but not all of it left clean & some chipped/cracked; The entrance door was sticking & difficult to open upon our arrival; we discovered the laminate flooring had swollen. Water gets in when it rains heavily. On 1 evening we had to mop floor of flood water inside entrance.

Ideale Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es gibt alles was man im Haushalt benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Ich würde wieder kommen !

Appartement très propre, tout se qu'il faut mais l extérieur ne fait pas rêver, il faut dire que c'est un sousplex ,chambre pas de fenêtre et l'autre chambre qui donne sur un patio avec aucune clarté.Point positive on fait tout à pied pour visiter Carcassonne

Weekend parfait

Avons passé un agréable weekend dans cet appartement. La procédure d'arrivée envoyée par l'hôte était très claire. Nous avons trouvé l'appartement très propre à notre arrivée. Même si nous n'avons pas fait à manger, la cuisine était super équipée, rien ne manquait. Les lits étaient plutôt confortables. En résumé, si nous devons retourner à Carcassonne, nul doute que nous y séjournerons à nouveau.

El apartamento esta muy bien, completo y comodo. Por poner un pero, las almohadas son bastante bajitas, y para que la gente que no lo sepa, el cierre de la puerta es estilo frances, es decir, la maneta se gira hacia arriba. Lo comento porque no sabíamos cerrar la puerta y nos costó un poco. Por lo demas, todo muy bien, sin duda lo aconsejo.

Lieu parfait pour rester plusieurs jours à Carcassonne : spacieux, grandes chambres, tout équipé, en plein centre et donc à proximité de tout. L'appartement est dans une résidence privée, au calme, et le parking se trouve à quelques mètres de la résidence.

Schöne kleine ruhige Wohnung, sehr gut gelegen, mit allem was man braucht. Nicht ganz leicht zu finden, aber die Vermieterin ist sofort zu erreichen und hilft direkt weiter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Apartamento bonito, cuidado y muy centrico

El apartamento está muy bien. Muy bonito, cuidado y limpio. Está muy bien ubicado, puedes ir andando a la ciudadela y al centro de la ciudad. El parquing está a 20 metros del apartamento, por lo tando está genial. Sin ninguna duda, para mí es un 10. Fuimos con dos niños pequeños y disfrutaron de la ciudad amurallada y del castillo. Viaje muy recomendable

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble mais...

Appartement très bien situé dans un magnifique immeuble ancien, jolie cour intérieure. L'appartement se situe au niveau moins un et cela pourrait être précisé dans le descriptif. Les chambres n'ont aucune lumière du jour, n'ayant pas de fenêtres. Le sejour/ cuisine est lui très agréable et bien décoré. La propreté des lieux est correcte, par contre la literie du canapé convertible était pleine de poussière, cela se voyait qu'elle n'avait pas été ouverte depuis longtemps.... Le chauffage est limité et une des chambre ne possède pas de radiateur surtout qu'il n'y a pas de couette sur les lits, uniquement des dessus de lit non nettoyés entre chaque location... Enfin, attention au manche de casserole clipssable qui tient mal; deux casseroles d'eau bouillante se sont decrochées du manche....a changer.

Lo mejor: ubicación y apartamento muy amplio y con todo lo necesario. Lo peor: está en un sótano que se accede pasando un patio muy poco iluminado y muy abandonado, es un inmueble muy antiguo.
