Tennis and basketball court, chiringuito for outdoor parties, barbecue, parking, 5 rooms (4 of them with air conditioning), WIFI, pool, heating Our House is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Andalusia, the Subbética Cordobesa, in the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas in the Municipality of Carcabuey, just 10 or 15 km from other 'white' towns such as Priego de Córdoba Cabra, Zagrilla or Zuheros and one hour from the main Andalusian capitals: Córdoba. Muslim city raised on the banks of the Guadalquivir and declared a World Heritage Site; Granada, with the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada and the lavish palatine city of the Alhambra; Jaén, historic Andalusian capital of the olive tree; Malaga, axis of the most renowned tourist coast of Spain. The house is located one minute from the village, nestled between a small forest of fruit trees and ornamental property of the farm with stunning views of the village, its castle and all the relief that surrounds it, just 50 meters from the spring of drinking water 'El Masegal' and with easy access both on foot and in any kind of vehicle. Thanks to its location (in the middle of nature but very close to the town) you can enjoy countless activities; highlighting trekking, hiking, cycling routes, visit to caves, bird watching (with the Tajo de las Buitreras where you can see the majestic griffon vulture), etc. all this together with the charm of the facilities that we offer, the spectacular cuisine of the area, our popular festivals and the friendly and welcoming treatment of our people, make this house the best choice to enjoy incredible experiences. Inside our house you will find everything you need for your comfort, enjoyment and safety without losing the traditional and authentic ways of our area. 5 spacious and bright rooms, 2 with double bed and air conditioning, 2 with two single beds and air conditioning and 1 with 2 bunk beds plus 1 extra bed for the living room and new baby park. Large living room with fireplace, sofas, table stretcher, dining table, bar furniture, fireplace table, rocking chairs, a careful and traditional decoration, and large windows with views. Full kitchen, with all the necessary appliances and trousseau, plus a nice American bar. Large pantry included in the kitchen It has 2 full bathrooms with shower-bath with screens, toilet, bidet, sink and accessories. Hall-entrance hall with a small table, hangers and place to leave your bags. In addition the whole house is fully equipped with trousseau (blankets, sheets, bath towels and pool, kitchen utensils, bathroom accessories, TV, DVD, cabinets, tables, curtains, all windows with mosquito net and bars even at the door of entry). If something fits to stand out of this fantastic house are its exteriors, since it has very large areas with everything that may be needed for a maximum use and enjoyment of rural tourism, in addition the entire perimeter and facilities is fenced so that the tranquility and relaxation they can be full. It has a large covered porch that includes all the part of the main facade, with gazebo and area for relaxation from where you will get stunning views of the town with its castle and the majestic mountains and valleys that surround it. And backyard where you can relax for a while with the plants, also ready to lay and wash clothes (with covered laundry including pile and washing machine). Large parking with a fully enclosed plaza and 5 more open-air spaces. In the lower bench we have a chiringuito with full trousseau (glasses, fridge, paellera, own cutlery, stone bar, tables and chairs for all) a wood barbecue (with its countertop and sink) and a stone arbor covered by a lattice vegetable. Tennis court 22x11 m with basket to play basketball, badminton court, a large pool 11x6 m with sun loungers to practice a little sport or take a refreshing swim enjoying the peace and tranquility of the environment. Attention to the tenants: We can offer you a delicious paella, elaboration of tapas, homemade meals of the zone, sweet craftsmen. Take them to see the operation of some of the most important olive oil mills in the world that are located in our municipality. Recommend some of the innumerable routes on foot or by bicycle that can be done from the house. In season, we can offer the usual crops that occur in the area, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, cucumbers, aubergines, potatoes, etc ... The house is well equipped, everything you might want, to include the coffee machine! We spent many days at the pool, which was large. The kids ( young adults really) enjoyed the tennis and table tennis too. We loved the local town (Carcabuey) which was an easy walk, and the festival was fun to go to. The host was great, excellent communication, recommendations and advice etc. He even provided paella for us one lunchtime, which was beautiful and much appreciated. The five children ranging in age from 5 to 10 especially enjoyed the pool, tennis, tennis table and spacious grounds where they were able to play safely. The heat during August was exceptionally hot this year at close to 45C and the lack of air conditioning was noticeable, but we were grateful to the owner Ele in providing fans which did make the heat at night a little more bearable. The property itself was very well equipped, clean and well maintained and we couldn’t have asked for more. Carcabuey is a quaint Spanish village with Bars, Bakery, etc. which is a short drive or 15 minute walk from the villa. Its location to other Spanish towns and cities was great, 2 hrs from Granada, 1hr from Cordoba (highly recommended) and 1hr 30 mins from Granada and the Alahambra (purchase tickets beforehand or take your passports!). All in all a lovely holiday, thank you Ele. ##### Mark S. Séjour de 14 nuits en août 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Andreas C. 13 juin 2018 #### Großzügiges und gut ausgestattetes Haus mit großem Pool und Außengelände Wir waren zwei Wochen im Frühling in diesem Haus. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und ist gut ausgestattet (nicht alles ist perfekt, aber alles funktioniert und ist in Ordnung). Auch die Küchenausstattung ist gut (Induktionsherd) und Geschirr ist in größerer Zahl vorhanden. Der Pool ist groß und bekommt viel Sonne ab (die Palmen auf dem Bild gibt es nicht mehr, da sie wg. Schädlingsbefall bis auf einen Stumpf gekürzt werden mussten). Auf dem Tennisplatz gibt es auch einen Basketballkorb und Flutlicht, so dass man auch noch spät abends spielen kann. Weiterhin hatten wir auch eine neue Tischtennisplatte und Schläger + Bälle zur Verfügung. Der Ort Carcabuey bietet ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs (u.a. frischen Fisch und eine tolle Konditorei). Weiterhin einen Besuch wert sind Lucena und Cabra. Gute Lage, wenn man Ausflüge sowohl nach Córdoba als auch nach Granada machen möchte, da der Ort in etwa gleiche Fahrtzeiten dorthin ermöglicht und die Straßen dorthin gut bis sehr gut ausgebaut sind. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. ##### Andreas C.
