My partner and I are rock climbers, we visit this area often to climb at the Holy Boulders in Pomona, and we came up at this time to see the eclipse. Alto Pass is so cute and cozy, and it was so nice to come back here and recharge after long days of climbing and hiking in the woods. The Havisham Burbon Bar was literally across the street and down block. Don't miss this place, even if you don't think you like burbon. The best feature of the house is for sure the shower. Huge, walk in shower with a rain shower head and second detachable shower head as well. And...and...HOT WATER. As a parent of many children I NEVER get any hot showers. This was bliss.
