Deer frequently wander through the property and bears have even been known to knock on the door. Feisty hummingbirds compete for their share of nectar from the feeder. Nature is literally on your doorstep! Since there is no light pollution in this small community, the starry skies will amaze you! In addition to this, you have all the comforts of a luxury condo. Our cabin is easily accessible but away from trains, planes and highways. Four-wheel drive is not necessary. Marble, a very small community, is a great central location for exploring the beautiful places of western Colorado. Within a two hour drive you can visit the orchards and vineyards of Paonia, the stunning Black Canyon of the Gunnison River, Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction, the Roaring Fork River valley and Aspen, Independence Pass and the Snowmass Wilderness. Best of all, our own Crystal River Valley. If you are looking for the perfect place to experience nature at its best, Meek's Hill Cabin IS the perfect place! Sorry, we cannot accommodate dirt bikes or ATV's. We are closed for the hunting season. The view is exceptional, the cabin is spotless and surrounded by lovely flowers and hummingbirds, and the interior makes you feel like you are at home with beautiful decor and comfy furniture. The cabin is fully equipped with luxury linens and everything you need to prepare meals. The hosts are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about Marble and the surrounding area. This cabin, the owners and the entire community and experience was above and beyond our expectations. This property is only something to behold in person. Tom and Kay are amazing and have really provided a perfect little place for anyone looking to spend some quality quiet time away from the noise most of us experience far too much. I really can’t say enough other than keep this area what it is. It is a clean and quiet community. It is not a place to be obnoxious or be noisy.
