Our group cooked a couple evenings and found the kitchen to be completely stocked with all of the kitchen equipment needed. The property was cozy and the fireplace was a big plus. Although we didn’t need, the extra downstairs kitchen and living room area would be nice for two families. Would highly recommend to a friend and am likely to rebook. The drive to the property is wonderfully scenic and it's a great peaceful area for taking a walk. Super clear night skies. It's about 30 minutes from Snowmass. What a great stay - the house is beautiful, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. The owner/manager was prompt and friendly and we had a lovely little weekend in the mountains. The kids loved having their own private space downstairs with all the same amenities as upstairs. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near Basalt mountain with great views from the patio where we saw a great sunset. Everyone loved seeing all the deer cross through the yard. Makes sense where the street name came from. Hiking was close-by and Basalt mountain was very peaceful. We were surprised there were only a few others hiking on a weekend! It was nice to have a couple restaurants down the street in El Jebel as well as easy grocery shopping. Overall, would definitely stay again - we love this spot! ##### Claire S.
