Located on the iconic Tween Waters stretch of Captiva Island, this house has access to both the pristine Gulf beach and the abundance of wildlife on the bay. There is plenty of room for a large family or group, comfortably accommodating up to 10 people. Everyone will enjoy the recently updated décor and the open single-story floor plan containing four bedrooms and three bathrooms.The light-filled master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom and french doors leading to the tropical courtyard. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with en-suite bathroom. Third bedroom has two twin beds along with en-suite bathrooms. There is a fourth bedroom containing two twin beds. The living room offers a new queen sleeper sofa and smart TV. The updated kitchen with granite counters offers plenty of room to gather. You will find it is well equipped for all your cooking and entertaining needs. When your meal is ready, enjoy it in the oversized dining room or in the screened-in terrace complete with a dining table, lounge area, fountain and fireplace. No usage of fireplace please, fountain switch to turn on and off is located in master bedroom. A short walk down your shell lane leads to either the beach or the bay for island fun. After you’re done enjoying the waves at the beach or kayaking and paddleboarding (which can be rented locally and launched from your semi-private dock) in the bay, come back to the house for some relaxation in your private heated pool. The private pool and beach were a hit with our 4 kids (2 preteens and 2 kids). We’ve been coming to Sanibel for decades but this was our first house rental in Captiva as well as staying all together. Sunsets, location, weather, pool and house were all fantastic. My only complaint was that due to construction of new house next door, nails from roof were sprinkled throughout driveway causing a flat tire on rental car.
