"No person on site but it was needed. Was a short walk to shopping and the wharf. Quintessential New England Seaport. Food options in Rockport weren't great but many within a short drive. Room was good and we enjoyed our time there. Would stay again."

We could not find anyone when trying to get our room or code to get in. and email check in time and texted time were different times. Other then that all good "

"This is our second visit to this Friend Street location in three years and we loved every day onsite. You always return to the great places. This house is well equipped with every item you may wish to have while on a vacation including a grand piano in the living room. We love Kathy, the owner, who has a hands on manner of maintaining the house. Finally, the house offers a beautiful view of the Gloucester harbor and is centrally located within the city for anyone to visit most tourist locations. We our already planning our return visit. Thanks again Kathy."

"This is our second time and no sophomore slump here! Just as we remembered.....linens were fresh, bed very comfortable, and towels were thick, soft, and absorbant. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we might need. The livingroom was just right for the space and loved the private deck off the livingroom...great for morning coffee and late afternoon cocktails while watching the bunnies. We parked our car and walked everywhere.....restaurants and beach area were all a short walk away.....51 Rocky Neck was our new go-to for the weekend....great food great drinks, and great staff....we will be booking again for next year...Rocky Neck Hideaway is the best kept secret for a weekend getaway and value for the money.....really can't be beat!"
