Cozy home in Capolona

This former farmhouse is located in the wooded hills just 2.5 km from Capolona: There is plenty of space, lots of nature and a large pool! The living area is on the first floor, with a large eat-in kitchen, dining room and the six bedrooms with three bathrooms. The furnishings are simple, in a rustic Tuscan style. In front of the house there are various terraces and seating areas; to the rear is the spacious pool area with sun loungers and covered garden seating areas with barbecue and pizza oven as well as a further external bathroom with shower and WC. The location is ideal for enjoying Arezzo and its historic centre - e.g. strolling through the Corso, visiting the cathedral, the Romanesque Pieve, the church of San Francesco with the famous fresco cycle by Piero della Francesca - and of course enjoying an aperitif in Piazza Grande! Numerous trattorias offer local delicacies. In June and September, the traditional Saracino equestrian games take place in Piazza Grande; on the first weekend of every month, the entire old town centre comes alive with a colourful national antiques market. Other excursion destinations: The picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona (35 km), Castiglion Fibocchi, Monte San Savino and Lucignano (approx. 25 km); the Casentino with its castles and forests and the picturesque Poppi, where you can also play golf (40 km) - and of course Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo" (75 km). In Capolona (2.5 km) you will find everything you need for your daily needs: shops of all kinds, trattorias, bars, tennis courts; private railway to Arezzo and Poppi.
