Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire unit as well as the garage below the apartment for parking. We provide a parking pass for guests traveling with more than one car.
The Neighborhood: Capitola is a coastal jewel in Santa Cruz County. This charming seaside village is known for its colorful beachfront houses, coastal boutiques, and fantastic dining options. With a relaxed atmosphere, Capitola is a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the picturesque Capitola Beach and explore the unique shops and eateries. The city's scenic beauty, combined with a vibrant community, creates a perfect beachfront destination. Plus, its proximity to Santa Cruz offers easy access to the Boardwalk and additional attractions, making Capitola a delightful coastal retreat.
This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.
Getting Around: - Whole Foods, New Leaf, and Safeway (3-6 minute drive) - Downtown Santa Cruz and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (15-20 minute drive North) - The Monterey Bay Aquarium (50 minute drive South)
Other Things to Note: - This neighborhood is very lively and on a main road, so there is some traffic noise throughout the day and occasionally at night. - There is one parking spot in the garage under the unit, but please note it is a very small space and would be hard to maneuver a bigger SUV or truck in this space. We also provide a parking permit and a map to the permitted spaces. - We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason. - There are two Smart TV's in the home, however there is no Cable TV - We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you. - The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.

The home was wonderfully appointed, and in SUCH a great location. Everything you want to do around Capitola is within walking distance, just a blast. Wish we could have stayed longer! The garage was tricky to find and get into but we managed. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful upstairs condo overlooking Capitola street shops and just a couple tiny blocks from the water! Everything at your fingertips and a designated parking spot made this stay perfect! The O’Neal management team was fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great location to shops and restaurants!!Can only maneuver in and out of the garage with a small car. Can get noisy. Wish they had king size beds instead of queen. Also would have liked dish towels in the kitchen and Kleenex and nightlights in the bathrooms. Enjoyed the natural light coming in and spaciousness. Could use more comfortable bed pillows. Really wished they would have had a dresser in the second bedroom to be able to put clothes somewhere.

Private, quiet, nest in convenient location!
Property was clean, spacious, comfortable, cute, beachy and modern (not funky or grungy - very clean floors!) Very private to be up on second level. Centrally located - fun to be able to people-watch down on to main shopping street, from the comfort and privacy of living space. Convenient walk to everything. Bathrooms are updated, and especially generously-sized. Bedrooms are in back of unit, away from street. Both bedrooms could probably fit Cal King beds, but the Queen sizes were comfortable. Ceiling fans were wonderful! Coffee, sugar and filtered refrigerated water was appreciated! Full, spacious kitchen. Loved the (long but narrow) garage parking option - a little tight but we made our CRV work by turning in side mirrors and going in/out slowly. We are a 50 couple with our teenage daughter, who loved the place, too. We have stayed several places in town, and we would definitely return to this one!

Location with comfort
This was our second stay at this property. The two bedroom, two bathroom works perfectly for my husband, me and our adult son. The flat is comfortable and beautifully furnished. We love the location, it is so convenient to everywhere we want to be. The convenience of a garage and parking pass is a big plus to this property. Looking forward to staying here again!

Gem location and rental for cute Capitola
You cant beat this darling rental with a row of windows facing the cute town. The location gives you quick access to coffee, shops, the ocean, a small market and nearly every type of restaurant you could ask for. The place is well appointed with everything you need and we slept great on the comfortable beds. Having your own porch to enjoy the mornimg sun and designated parking wete bonuses. You’ll love it here for your next Capitola getaway.

Fun at the Beach
We loved the place it was clean and spacious. Perfect location in Capitola. We had lunch in the sun at a local cafe and walked all over town. Great accommodations and good communication with the management company. The only issue was the garage which was difficult to get into. We were informed of this issue and thus did not use the car often after getting into the garage. We have an SUV. A smaller car would not have an issue. In summary, we would rent there again it was perfect!

Great location near beach, cute place!
Really cute condo that is walking distance to all of the shops and the Capitola beach! You won't have to look for parking you can walk to everything and it is super close! You can actually see the shops from the unit's windows. The place was very clean and stocked fairly well with all of the basics you would need. We had four of us staying there and it was very spacious. The only drawback is the parking garage is very tight and tricky to park in, but we managed it. And only one parking spot, any overflow cars have to use their pass to park in public parking lot. I would stay there again and highly recommend this place!

Quick trip to pick up son from UCSC
PROS - Great location, close to UCSC, very close to beach and all the cool shops, amenities, garage available plus parking pass. Roomy enough. Kitchen stocked with supplies. Adorable beach town.
CONS -
Not enough towels. Literally 4 bath towels. No beach towels. We had to wash the towels while we were there.
We cleaned out the ice maker. There was a massive block of ice. No one took the time to remove the ice and reset the ice maker it appears in months or longer.
The same for the dryer lint screen.
Dryer lint looked as if it had never been cleared out ever. There was a massive amount of dryer lint. Strange since we had a hard leave at 10am and the cleaning person was there on the dot.

Great spot near everything in Capitola!
We were favorably impressed to find this space was just as represented! It is convenient to everything in Capitola, has parking provided, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, quiet and great for our get away.
We never could get the TV to work with the Roku service but we also didn’t reach out to ask how to overcome that.
The parking is tight but that was clearly stated.
Check-in instructions were spot on including exactly how to find access to the space.
We would book this space again in a heartbeat!!!

My friend and I rented this place TWICE! Both times for work and it was by FAR the most brilliant idea ever. WAYYYYYYY cheaper than a hotel AND it was 12 steps from the water (12ish).

Clean and great location
This property was very clean and in a great location, right on the main street in Capitola Village. Parking was easy with the provided tag, there was a garage but it is pretty small and the approach was really tight so we chose to park on the street.
