The apartment was lovely but the pool freezing cold and the tiling around it really slippery when wet. I have only knocked off a star for Communication because they didn’t respond to any messages via Expedia but as soon as I emailed directly I received a reply within hours. The staff are available 24/7 and so helpful. Parking is in a secure garage. There are key cards for moving in and out of the property so very safe. It is a 5 min walk to the marina area and 5 min more to the VA Waterfront. So many dining and shopping options nearby that our car stayed parked for the entire time. The apartment is not huge but perfect for 2 people. It had a beautiful large balcony overlooking the canals, a nice seating/dining area inside and a small kitchen with washer/dryer. Linens/bedding/towels all very nice, bed was very comfortable and bathroom quite large.
