Communication was a real problem. Confirming arrival time had to be done multiple times as they didn't seem to register. They make the check in time later than I wanted and I had to wait around. Then the host didn't show, I had to phone, costing lots as I hadn't bought a local sim yet. She had been told a 2 hour later check in than was agreed. While they say they have free wifi, it didn't get sorted for 3 days, it wasn't done by password but by using MAC addresses so had to be set up. This could and should have been done in advance so that any issues could be dealt with by the host but it wasn't. Again, we spend loads of money using data until we could buy a local sim. Also, only 2 devices could be connected. We only got one set of keys even though 2 of us were staying there. As we often were' together, that was really difficult. On check out we arrange for a late check out and for cleaners to arrive at noon. They turned up an hour early having not been told about our late check out. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des Stadtzentrums sind in Gehdistanz. Até aí tudo bem, mas Expedia poderia deixar isso bem mais claro na hora de oferecer o lugar. Também não fica claro que, além do custo indicado para alugar o apto, há um depósito das chaves a se fazer, não reembolsável, e um outro, tipo cheque calção, com devolução posterior (ainda aguardamos o reembolso desse depósito). O apto está muito bem localizado, no centro de Cape Town e é bem confortável.
