Everything was clean and neat, with plenty of space for everyone (all six of us).We are big fans of the Beach Plum Cafe, the West End Garage and Cape West Tacos, all of which were within walking distance, as well as a great liquor store and hair salon.If you love the Washington Street Mall, that is only a ten minute walk and is a great option if the car is needed elsewhere.The condo was perfect for our stay and David was always communicative and friendly. I rented this property based on the “oh, so clean”reviews. Well…. when I went to wipe a spill off the kitchen floor, the paper towel ended up being dark grey, indicating that the floor hasn’t been washed in a while and there is a distinct “aroma” to the rental and I’m not sure where the source is. It kind of smells like low tide at times. Might be the carpeting - which appears to have never been cleaned. The kitchen amenities are sparse. However… there is no mold present in the bathrooms, which is a plus. Dated property. Having to lug everything up 17 steps was a bit challenging and there was no lighting up all those steps at night - there appears to be lighting… but it didn’t work, despite trying several switches inside. I will say that the owner is a very nice person and extremely responsive to any inquiry I had… which made me sad when I arrived and wasn’t really pleased with the property. Plan for a 4pm check-in, NOT 3pm as the website states. Overall the house was clean, easy to find, and the location is excellent. The owner was also very responsive, which I appreciate. Quite an upgrade from our last place. Overall, my family and I very much enjoyed our stay here.
