Beds are very comfortable, A/C worked well and location was great. That is the positives. The place was not clean. We were promised our cleaning fee back and to date nothing has been refunded. The owner came twice, once to drop off ant bait for the infestation of carpenter ants and once to clean the filthy blinds. My daughter (a minor) was there when he cleaned the blinds and when he asked if she was happy with what had been cleaned she told him it would be up to me - he messaged me saying she gave her ok which is untrue. I was so surprised at all the positive reviews about how clean the place was. The windows and blinds were filthy, the carpets on the floor can't be cleaned, the mirror in the bathroom hadn't been wiped down as I could read 2 separate peoples names stating they were here when it was fogged up. There was an infestation of carpenter ants (I killed at least 40). My family had a house on a lake in the mountains for 30 years so I am well aware of the elements and what it can do a house over a winter. The windows and doors looks like they have not been cleaned in years. The leaves from last fall were still on the ground. The front steps were covered with green algae. Alot of the paint and caulking looked dirty- either dirt had settled or wasn't cleaned properly before the work was done. The house needs a deep and thorough cleaning inside and out. The house always smelled musty and there was odor absorbers scattered around the house.
