Built in 1993 and completed renovated in 2010, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1,600+ square foot home has brand new furniture, décor, and new tile throughout. It is located in the coveted SW area of Cape Coral and is close to shopping and restaurants. Villa Ellie Mona also includes kayaks and bicycles to use while you're there! KEY FEATURES: This home has bicycles and kayaks for guests. Living Room: When entering the house, you will step into the living room with a comfortable seating arrangement and a flat-screen TV. Kitchen/Dining Room: The fully equipped new kitchen features new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops, and an island. Right next to it is a large dining table with seating for six. Primary Bedroom/Bathroom: The Master Suite features a Queen-size bed, television, and walk-in closet. The attached master bath offers a large tiled shower, a tub, and vanity cabinets with two separate sinks. Guest Bedrooms/Bathrooms: The first guest bedroom has access to the lanai through slider doors and offers a Queen-size bed. The second guest bedroom has two Twin beds. Both guest bedrooms share the second bath, which is also conveniently accessible from the lanai. All of the bedrooms offer TVs. Pool/Lanai/Dock: In the large, fully screened lanai, there is an electric heated pool, plenty of seating arrangements for you and your guests, and a gas grill. Never miss your favorite shows while spending time in the pool with the 43" TV on the lanai! Palm trees and other tropical plants add to the curb appeal of the well-landscaped yard. Enjoy the neighborhood by bike or kayak; both are available for your use during your stay. The house is in a very quiet, traffic reduced neighborhood suitable for walking, jogging, or biking, yet centrally located to reach a neighborhood Wal-Mart and Publix grocery store, as well as a variety of restaurants and bars. You can bring or rent a boat, as the house has access to the Gulf of Mexico via the wide canal system of Cape Coral (boat lift is not​​​​​​​ available for tenant use). Of course, you may use the private boat dock. The nearby Cape Coral Parkway gives easy access to the downtown nightlife, Gulf beaches, more shopping centers, golf courses, and much more. This house was clean, well-stocked, beds were comfortable. Loved having access to kayaks, fishing rods, pool toys, beach towels and coolers. The area felt safe and it was easy to get around. Lots of restaurants, supermarket 1 mile away. You should definitely rent a boat. We would have rated five stars if the pool heater would have worked, 65 degree pool water when we arrived. Management company was great, even sending someone to look at it on Christmas Day. It was replaced and running in time for us to swim on our last day. When we arrived, we had an issue with lizards in the house. Because the previous guests hadn't used one of the bedrooms, the cleaning staff didn't clean it and didn't see the lizard feces that was on the window sill. The lady that checked us in made some calls and the house was cleaned up immediately and sticky pads were placed in order to catch the lost lizard that was lurking. The next day, there was a dead lizard on the sticky pad, but we saw another lizard under the refrigerator. We called the management co and they sent a fellow out immediately to remedy the situation. None of us wanted to use the bedroom with the lizard traps, so we made due with 2 bedrooms rather than 3\. The homeowners should consider replacing their living room furniture and beds. We had major issues with both. The kitchen is awesome - well stocked and everything worked well. The pool area is also a wonderful place to be, and where we spent the majority of our time. Again; the management company did everything in their power to remedy the situation. There were some tears in the pool screens that may have allowed the critters inside and they were scheduling repair to the screens while we were there. Great location. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable in the home. Area is quite which is what we were looking for. One surprise was the air conditioning. It is recommended by owner to keep at 78, you are more then welcome to turn down to comfortable level, however, you may have to pay for the extra electric used.
