This true waterfront Villa renovated Spring 2025 boasts luminous open gathering spaces, split bedroom wings, large heated pool & 1000 sq ft of fully enclosed outdoor spaces, with expansive covered patio & cathedral pool enclosure, all with exceptional open water views.  
Split bedrooms wings, with on one end #1 spacious split-King Suite (+Twin sofabed & crib, as needed) with Master Bath, French door to the lanai & stunning sunrise views from your bed, and on the other end #2 Garden Bedroom with split-King, #3 Canal Bedroom with Queen, sliders to the pool & open views, and a 2nd full bathroom with walk-out to the pool.  
The new fully-enclosed lanai offers heated pool, ample seating & dining areas surrounded by 3 huge picture windows made of the finest no-see-ums Superscreen, providing unobstructed views & good shade and the pool & bistro lights allow you to enjoy the outdoors all evening.  
All this facing an intersecting canal, which acts as a busy channel for boaters & all sorts of birds, fish, turtles, river otters… from sunrise to sunset. You can hear the splashing all night too! True water & wildlife views, instead of facing another house: let all your stresses melt away in this most serene setting with long views…

Go for daily walks with friendly neighbors & their pups, or to discover properties with Burrowing Owls, a beloved & protected local species. Cape Coral proudly hosts the largest population of Burrowing Owls in the state, estimated at around 1000 nesting pairs.  
  
GETTING AROUND  
Excellent residential neighborhood, yet with easy access to all major roads to fabled SWFL sights, beaches & sports fishing.  
Located on SE 18th Ave, between Viscaya & Bolado, near the Hospital & off Del Prado Blvd with all shopping & entertainment, 4 miles to Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, 7 miles to the River District in Fort Myers, 9-15 miles to charming Matlacha, Bookelia & Pine Island, 17 miles to hopping Fort Myers Beach, 20-30 miles to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, Sanibel & Captiva (not to miss Captiva by the Sea Chapel), 40 miles to Naples Botanical Gardens, Pier & Beach & gateway to Marco Island, numerous outlets nearby too…

All exterior entrances, driveway & equipment are monitored by AV recording devices, to help ensure the respect of this agreement, protect our property & care for our guests & neighbors.   
\- 2 Ring doorbell at front door & garage-dining room doors,  
\- 5 Blink cameras on 4 corners of property & over pool equipment.  
  
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE (BRIEF)  
Please note:  
\- not suitable for infants & toddlers due to open access to pool & canal, and access to pool & canal are 100% at your own risks;  
\- perimeter, equipment & external entrances are monitored with 2+5 AV devices to help safeguard both parties;  
\- no smoking anywhere on the property: please do not book this home if anyone in your group is a smoker, so we can avoid all smells & littering;  
\- animals must be preapproved at conditions outlined in the descriptions & rental agreement.  
  
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE (EXT.)  
\- Main guest on the reservation must be at least 25 years old.   
\- Please register all visitors on the reservation as well, as anyone accessing the property must also be on the insurance, for a maximum of 8.  
\- We are NOT a party house & make every effort to keep the neighbors & city happy. We will evict immediately, keep both lodging & deposit and levy a $500 fine as the city may give us a citation if you breach this agreement. We will also pursue damages if your actions cause our hosting privileges to be revoked by the platform or the city.  
\- Available to book online for up to 28 nights & month/month with direct lease & deposits.  
\- Private owners offer unique dates for unique properties & it is the guest’s responsibility to get CFAR/other travel insurance. Our cancellation policy will be enforced, even if guests choose not to get the travel insurance they may need.  
\- We offer flexible pricing 1-8 guests, to remain accessible to solo travelers, couples or small groups & this platform will calculate additional guest charges automatically.   
\- Any early check in or late check out must be pre-approved. There is an $80/hour fee/penalty for up to 2h of early check in or late check out (doubled cleaning crew). After 2h, we must charge another night as there is not enough time to turnover the listing, plus any charges for relocating the next guests if applicable.  
\- The home has 3 closets & plastic bins labeled & monitored as owner-only access. Guests will be charged if they do.  
\- Pool heater thermostat set up to 88F is available at $15/day extra (payable in advance for the duration of the stay to avoid trip fees).  
  
PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS:  
\- Some pets may be approved depending on type & breed with picture as proof & with the following: $250 pet deposit/cleaning fee to steam clean the home to help remediate allergens (additional to be sent after completing the reservation) & $10/pet/day to cover wear & tear (included in the pet reservation). We hope to refund part of the deposit/cleaning fee if you return the home in excellent condition.  
\- Guests are 100% liable for any damage caused by their animal, and must present pet insurance & health records for all animals.  
\- The animal must be under the control of the handler at all times & never be left alone at the property, unless crated.  
\- The animal is not allowed to use inside pee pads, or to go potty on the property. Please walk your animal on the street & always pick up with your own supplies, tightly close bags & place into the outdoor garbage bins, never inside. Any littering or damages to our yard will cause you to forfeit the deposit, landscaping fees to resod or replant & our landscapers will alert us if they find animals are using the yard.   
\- Animals are not allowed on any furniture or counters… except SA & only if specifically related to the services the SA provides.  
\- ESA are not recognized by STR platforms & are subject to all rent, deposit & cleaning fees.  
\- Misrepresentation of a SA is a crime. If it is discovered that a guest lied about their SA to avoid paying fees and/or deposits, the guests will be evicted immediately with no refunds & will be reported to the appropriate federal agency for fraud.  
\- Cats can only be accepted if using (our/your) top-entry litter box. Please get your pet accustomed to using a top-entry one, so there is zero risk of spray & spills & place the litter box on a waterproof rug to avoid tracking.

The pool heater was broken. We had to let the contact know the pool was not heated. This was an important part of the rental was to be able to use the heated pool all week. But it was never fixed while we were there. Again the pool was clean and beautiful. Just not heated and it seems that should have been found before we arrived. The rest of the rental was perfect. Clean and advertised correctly. The sunrises were beautiful!

#### Breathtaking

Due to flight delays we arrived late our first night missing out on our first day, but waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the waterway was breathtaking. This place is exactly as pictured, to be honest, the second bedroom is much bigger than the photos suggest. This was my first trip to Florida, as well as my 8 year olds, and we weren't disappointed. The neighbourhood is quiet and everything is a quick drive away. Everything we needed was on site and we quickly made ourselves at home. My son was in the pool every day and it was the perfect temperature, even for me!! We highly recommend staying here.

The property was very nice. Looks as pictured.. We loved the pool and outdoor space. The neighborhood was great for walking. We could walk to some restaruants, and grocery. The pool was crystal clear all the time!

Great view with a nice pool and outdoor furniture! The house is nice and has been updated for the most part, however needs a deep cleaning. Discarded patio furniture was at the back of the house blocking the view from the master bedroom. A huge disappointment was there is no cable TV as stated in the description. Only Roku. No live TV except for local news at a certain time of the day. No live sports or major networks are available. Unfortunately, we would not rent again for a long term stay.

The sunrise and sunset views were amazing. Nice quiet neighborhood near shops and restaurants. Pool was nice and refreshing I enjoyed it immensely. House is nicely decorated inside and large for a two bedroom. The curb appeal is lacking but a it’s a rental and suitable.

#### The a/c in the property stopped working from 2nd day onwards which was the worst part .

The a/c in the property stopped working from 2nd day onwards which was the really and property owner didn’t respond to our calls and text messages till next day. Even the VRBO customer service team not able to switch property that night after spending 2 hours long calls on a tiresome day which was worst part. The temperature at the house is 87 degrees ( feels like 95) so none of us (including KIDS) able to sleep entire night after very tiresome day which ruined our whole vacation. Due to this whole mess, We had to cancel our vacation and return . Very disappointing and frustrating.

#### Awesome house!

I really liked to stay in Serenity. The property has a really good location. Quiet neighborhood. The view of the pool looking into the canal is amazing. Great for sunrise and sunset and even the night view is really cool. The pool gets sun most of the day and the furniture around it is great for sunbathing and very comfortable and updated. We really liked the furniture in the whole house. It was clean and updated and gave us the feeling in being in a hotel. The house was very spacious with comfortable seating. My kids really liked to have their own bed and not having to share. And it was nice that every room had a TV The property had everything we needed and more. And it was close to stores and good restaurants. I wish it would be a little closer to the beach. But we were able to take a boat tour with a 20 min drive. We like that the property let us bring our Ginger with us, we enjoyed bringing her with us to the dog beach in bonita springs for a day trip. Overall my family and I were very happy with this property and Cindy. Who was always kind and available and providing needed information.

#### Serenity@511 was amazing!!!!!

Thank you Cindy for everything involving our stay at Serenity@511\. Pictures are very accurate but until you are there in person, they really don't do the property due justice. Peaceful neighborhood to just sit by the pool or canal and enjoy surise or sunsets with your favorite beverage. Close to multiple beaches, food and family fun. Communication with Cindy was amazing, very accommodating to schedule changes prior and during trip. Our family enjoyed it so much we extended our stay mid week and process was quick and easy through Cindy and her team. More then worth the price compared to many other homes we looked into.. We will definitely be returning to the "home away from home" as often as we can.

#### Home away from home

This was my first time using Vrbo and WOW! Everything was such a breeze from the booking to the check in. The house was just so perfect and everything we needed/wanted and more. We never even felt the need to leave the house except to go to the grocery store. My sister and I surprised my mom for her birthday and she was sooo happy. There were no issues with anything, I had to contact the owner once and she responded so quickly. Such a great relaxing mini vacation. Will most definitely recommend this property to every one and will stay here again. Thank you so much!!!

#### Not what I expected

At first I thought it was going to be another fun VRBO experience, only to find out the contract was deceiving. I found multiple issues with the house. 1\. AC was down for a day 2\. Ants were on our food 3\. A damaged sliding door not of our doing 4\. Garbage stipulation was not specified on contract Overall house was pretty at a desirable location Contract demands were a bit overboard; all these issues were brought to owner’s attention, only to find out that I was penalized for $99\. I recommend to anyone planning on booking to please be careful with this host.

The house was nice and the setting was beautiful. The patio and pool were perfect for setting around enjoying morning coffee and drinks later in the day while enjoying the gorgeous view. The kitchen could use some updating such as new cooking utensils and towels. There were a few concerns most of which Cindy addressed quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

#### Beautiful Setting. Awesome sunrise most days!

The house was large and laid out very nicely. Beautiful views from all the back windows. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Nice beds. Well equipped. Welcome basket was appreciated. Only drawback was that the pool heater did not work for several days. Happened on a weekend. No service until Monday. Paid an extra fee for pool that was not always heated. Would definitely not keep me from coming back. Loved Cape Coral. Loved the house, pool and lanai. Everything close by. Great vacation experience!

Overall great and cozy stay. I did have difficulties reaching out to the host. The inbox had different accounts or phone numbers and I didn’t know which one to use so I had to use the three inboxes showing and had to call a couple of times to reach out to the host Cindy for instructions. Happy at our stay the home was prepared for us.
