Small and dirty rooms, indifferent staff

Posted 1-Sep-2015
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything
The place is run-down and dirty, rooms are small and smelly, bedding and furniture old and worn, and the staff does not seem to care much. We would not go back even if paid to do so.

Hotel in bad condition

Posted 30-Aug-2015
Pros: Great location to get to the beach, restaurant, and ferry in a 5 minute or less car ride.
Cons: They MUST fix the following issues for future guests: -Fix locking mechanism on sliding door. THIS IS A HUGE SECURITY RISK! -Fix UNSAFE outlets.
Location: Perfect for going to the beach/main st in a 5 minute car ride. Hy-line ferry cruises to Martha's Vineyard is right in front of the hotel
First off, lets start with the pros before mentioning the cons. Pros: +Near to the beach +Right next to the Hy-Line Cruises ferry dock +Black Cat Tavern (Restaurant) is next door +Main street is only a 5 minute drive away. Cons: -Sliding door to our room does not lock properly;THIS IS UNSAFE. It locks but the locking mechanism does not actually hook into the slot for the lock to hook into... It is only as good as a sliding door without a lock. So we felt unsafe leaving anything of value in our room since a thief can easily slide the door open and access the room from the 1st floor (Ground) balcony. -Sliding door is hard to open/close;The hotel need to lubricate that door to make it slide easier. -Outlets are sloppy;also UNSAFE. (Plug something in? It will fall out. and the other outlet has the frame/housing enclosure falling out.) -There is only 2 (unsafe) outlets -Remote for TV does not work properly; It looks like someone used a generic replacement remote. -Wooden table is wobbly; it looks like the table top is not screwed in properly to the table stand/legs. -15$ PER DAY parking fee -No complementary (free) breakfast -The position of air-conditioner is bad; The air-conditioner is positioned next to the beds so at night if it is running, the guest WILL feel the COLD air blasting against them in the beds. This may be undesirable for some people as they have already cooled down from the hot day in bed.

Pros: Location and all the restaurants were great. Pool was clean and inviting.
Cons: The Lobster Roll
Location: Close to ships. \Close to bars. It's perfect for what we wanted
Hotel location is perfect for boats to islands. Restaurant and outdoor bar were great. However, I had the lobster roll. I specifically asked the waiter if there was lots of mayo in the lobster roll, and he said no. Well, not true, not close. I could have gotten a better roll at Subway, and not for $26.95. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. Breakfast outdoors was very nice. Work on the lobster roll!

Location is perfect across from the ferry. Room interiors need updating. Bathroom tiles were lifting and grout was stained brown near the toilet. Very musty ac unit. Walls thin.

Total disappointment

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: everything
The worst place I booked in my entire life. Because we booked with Expedia they gave us the worst room located at the worst place that is the comment we received from the manager. Worst customer service experience ever.

Centrally located to any town/beach on the Cape. Easy walking access to downtown Hyannis.

The rooms are typical. The bathroom needs updating. We could hear people walking above us on the second floor. Outdoor area very nice!

NOT PLEASANT

Posted 14-Aug-2015
Pros: Outdoor pool and restaurant was nice
Cons: Cleaning staff. Navigating from the outside trying to find room numbers. Update air conditioning and get rid of the wallpaper in bathroom.
Bathroom was dirty. Need to update and use bleach cleaner. Air conditioner was useless. Air streamed up drapes and did not circulate the room. Room doors did not close slowly so it would slam. The person across the hall was in and out all night and early morning, and I heard each and every time, SLAM, SLAM, SLAM! Person at front desk was dressed in dirty, filthy shirt and was rude. Has an indoor pool, but was gated and locked. Cleaning staff needs to be trained. Also, I don't know if this is for all Cape hotels, but I thought being charged $15 for parking was ridiculous! Listing stated it has an arcade. No arcade or a helpful person to explain why.
