"Pool was overcrowded with kids with $15 day passes. Food and drinks at pool were way overpriced. No adult pool. No music at pools. Not much for restaurant choices. Room was fine. Bed was comfortable. "

"The room itself was fine and the pool area was enjoyable, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing. We were told the restaurant would have a 20-minute wait for breakfast, but it took nearly an hour just to be seated. After that, service was so slow we had to leave without eating so we could return to our room before the 11:00 a.m. checkout. We also requested a noon checkout but were not accommodated. Service throughout the property felt consistently unhelpful and unpleasant, which made the stay far from welcoming. Unfortunately, the highlight of the visit was when the valet brought our car so we could leave. "

"The location was amazing. The stars for the staff go to two individuals alone. If not for them (hostess/waitress in restaurant and Brandon at front desk) I would have given ZERO stars for staff. Be prepared to ASK for everything including clean towels, coffee, room cleaning, real glasses, cheese on the breakfast buffet. NOT relaxing - it was a chore. "

"An old hotel that was being refurbished but not so well. Room very plain. Bathroom sink stopper had no adjustment rod, laminate floors in bathroom were starting to crack. No complimentry bottled water,only 1 tiny shampoo bottle. Very strange access to our 3rd floor room. After entering hotel,use elevator to 3rd flr which takes you outside to 3rd flr hotel porch then security door to enter 3rd floor rooms.(no stairs between elevator and 3rd floor security door to rooms.) However, once inside 3rd flr hallways to all rooms and access to emergency stairs on opposite side of hotel. Breakfast ok but not many choices. Continental breakfast. Would not choose this place next time."

"Wonderful “Prickly Pear” resort. Beautiful casitas with fireplace and balcony. The grounds were amazing to walk along the Nature Trails in the mornings and although I do not play golf…the greens were worth photographing. The staff and the golf carts were amazing….food at 2 of their restaurants were excellent. Pool was clean and great view with the boulders and waterfall. Our stay was exceptional!"
