Conveniently located to enjoy what the area has to offer. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the patio, watching the deer and listening to the birds. There was an electric grill as well to have a nice steak dinner. There’s a trail to walk to the lake and take in the beautiful sunset. The only reason we gave the 4 stars is because in our late 40s we could not tell from the pictures how steep the staircase was to the bedroom. Brian was quick to reply and the listing was as described! The place is pretty small, the upstairs ceiling is short so you’ll be crouching. Only complaints would be lack of dishes/kitchenware (only 2 mugs, some spices, and a wine/bottle opener) and the window unit AC upstairs right above the bed is pretty loud. ##### Summer B. The space is well laid out and the bed was super comfortable. The lake neighborhood was beautiful, and the walk to the lake was quiet and relaxing. There were deer around every turn, and even though we are from rural Missouri, it was still fun to see them so close. My only recommendation would be for a pull-out ottoman to make watching a movie more comfortable...we used our suitcase, which worked fine, but that was the only thing we found lacking! If you plan to use Canyon Lake, it is only .5 miles from 2 ramps! It is a cozy place, host very communicative and it was immaculate upon checkin. Thank you for a relaxing adventure. ##### Jennifer O. Perfect for an overnight stay or a quick stay.
