Enjoy lake views from the upper level deck, a relaxing hot tub, game room, and magical outdoor spaces to include a fire pit. With plenty of green space for all, bring along your furry friends for an additional fee. The grass is definitely greener at the Green Roof Cottage! Upon arrival, guests are met with an inviting storybook two level cottage. The 1st level is where the fun begins with the game space located in the garage area: a Ping Pong Table, Air Hockey, and a Foosball Table, along with video games make for a fun and inviting space. Enjoy a beverage or two at the bar area and watch your favorite sports team on the large screen television. Open the side garage door and find a hidden treasure, a relaxing hot tub with twinkling lights, follow the lighted pathway to the ring of fire surrounded with outdoor seating. A half bath and laundry room are located inside the house just off the game space. The second level leads to the living space, kitchen, and bedrooms. With lovely hill country views, wood flooring, and an upper level deck, guests are sure to find this a welcoming space. Find an open floor plan, with a roomy living space and plenty of seating. Guests will appreciate the lovely tile work in the spacious kitchen that offers everything one will need to prepare fabulous meals. The living room hosts a large screen TV, and plenty of room for movie or game nights. A charming second level deck with picturesque views makes for a peaceful space to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Grill up favorites and enjoy a romantic meal under the stars and end the evening with a nightcap cozied up next to the chiminea. Choose from one of the two lovely bedrooms; the master bedroom, hosts a king bed with a neutral palette, mounted television, plenty of storage, and hill country views, the perfect way to awaken after a restful night's sleep. The second bedroom offers soft linens with a pop of color, a twin over full bunk bed as well as a separate twin bed, the perfect space for the kids to retire for the night. Just outside the bedrooms A full bath with a walk in shower is conveniently located. An additional half bath is located on the 1st floor next to the washing machine and dryer. If you are looking for Hill Country fun, Old Hancock Trail is in the area for horseback riding and hiking. You can also enjoy a beach area with swimming and nature trails at Overlook Park, just a short drive away with great views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam, or rent a pontoon boat or jet ski for the day! Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, to enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. The downtown square of Wimberley offers shopping in boutiques and coffee shops for a relaxing stroll around town. You can start your adventure by swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, fly across the sky at Zip Line Adventure, or drop by Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and nature trails. Visit New Braunfels and float the beautiful Guadalupe River. Amazing location that over looks the lake and just a short drive to the river. Families of deer surround the hills which makes sunset walks around the neighborhood and experience you won’t forget. Great fire pit area in the back and game room on the bottom floor is a huge plus for us. The house was clean and the outdoor living areas were very nice and exactly what we were looking for. I had planned to grill steaks for Saturday evening dinner and I bought expensive steaks so I was really looking forward to a very nice dinner. I had prepared my steaks one day before and about an hour before I started to grill I went out to check on the grill and noticed two propane tanks. Both were empty, I immediately called the host Hill Country Premier Lodging and I told them the propane tanks were empty, they asked me to make sure and trouble shoot so I did and no propane was flowing into grill lines. They told me there was nothing they could do and told me that I would have to go get my own propane. I was extremely upset and told them that wasn’t my job and someone should have checked the tanks and obviously failed and didn’t do their job. I was told if I would go get my own tanks that I would be reimbursed. That was their best solution. I didn’t have any other choice and I didn’t want my steaks to go bad so I reluctantly and very upset drove five miles and had to use my own gas and spend my time to go exchange a propane tank. I got back to the house and connected the tank and the grill did not work. The lines were clogged a very tiny amount of propane was coming out of lines. I was not able to grill and I wasted my steaks. The house reservation clearly stated that a grill was available but clearly a non working grill was. ##### Abel H. It was my husband and me and our 2 kids. The firepit, hot tub and game room kept us all busy. The house was clean, neat, and cute. The master bed was fabulous! I slept like a baby. The shower is spacious. All amenities provided. Spices were provided. I brought my own just in case but didn't need to. They have good dishes, pots, and pans. This home has something for everyone.. the only complaint this trip was that the hot tub could have been cleaner..it was cloudy and had a musty smell, but this will not keep us from returning in the future. ##### Samantha R. The game room was a big bit! We also loved the location. It was a fifteen minute drive to any of the hill country places we wanted to visit. The house has everything. So peacefully tucked into the trees where you feel all alone. About half a mile from the entrance to the lake and a grocery store made it super convenient to shop for food. The game room, hot tub and outdoor area with the fire pit was the best. There were two mama deer with 2 babies that would come up to us each morning and night. Plus the amenities of the tv with Netflix and Disney available made it like home for the little one. We can’t wait to return. We will book this house every year we come back. ##### Kristopher T.
