This is the cleanest rental property I have ever seen in my life...period. So that made a very positive impression on my wife and I. The layout of the cabin is roomy yet cozy for couples and had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. We loved the proximity to various hiking trails in the area and the fact it was away from any downtown areas. We were still a short drive to Waynesville and Canton if we needed anything. Overall these aren't huge issues but one needs to be prepared. You will have to travel a few miles down the road to get cell service. Owner is very attentive and responsive. The owner Jim exceeded both of our expectations and was very accommodating to our every need. The location is very close by to many of the attractions you might want travel to. We loved listening to the creek across from the property as it was very relaxing and soothing. This little cabin was absolutely perfect!! There is no wi-fi, no interent service and no cell phone service!! I spent the weekend resting, relaxing, enjoying the front porch and the lovely view and the sound of the river across the road. I drove the Blue Parkway and went waterfall hunting. The spa bathtub in the Master Bedroom was also divine for this type of relaxing getaway. Jim, the owner was ALWAYS available. He even brought over a load of wood (and started) for a bonfire on 2 of the nights that I was there. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to de-plug. I did drive about 10 minutes, to a gas station, where I could get cell service and just take care of emergencies!! ##### Julie O.
